Who will make the Playoffs in NFL?

The NFL season is five weeks into 2019 action, and we've already seen which teams have lived up to the preseason hype, while others have sputtered tremendously and have seen their Super Bowl odds fall.

When looking at teams across the league who seem destined to make it to the playoffs, there's no question the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs feel like early locks to make a deep push in the postseason. However, teams like the Seahawks, 49ers and Saints are looking better each week.

In the AFC, though, the Pats are early favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions with their current NFL odds, while the Chiefs are right behind them.

But, who else has looked strong thus far? When the NFL playoffs do arrive, a total of 12 teams will keep playing ball after the regular season with a shot to take home the Vince Lombardi Trophy. In this piece, we take a look at the teams who have no question impressed thus far.

Predictions after Week 5

Week 5 of the NFL campaign ended with an absolute bang, as the San Francisco 49ers hosted Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr. and the Cleveland Browns.

Well, Jimmy Garoppolo, Matt Breida and the SF defense stole the show, dominating the Browns, who entered the game fresh off a dominant win over the Baltimore Ravens.

That of course wasn't the only statement made, as the Indianapolis Colts shocked the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, while Teddy Bridgewater and the Saints won another game, this time taking down the Buccaneers, who had just beaten the LA Rams.

Yup, it's safe to say there are no more guarantees in the NFL regular season anymore. Well, unless you've played the Redskins early on. The Patriots destroyed Washington 33-7. Less than 24 hours after the loss, the team fired head coach Jay Gruden. Simply brutal times in Washington D.C.

With all of that being said, here's our updated look at how we think the playoff picture will turn out.

Predictions after Week 4

Week 4 of the NFL provided us with countless surprises. Plenty of underdogs came out of nowhere to take down some powerful teams in primetime.

The biggest upset had to be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going to Los Angeles and crushing the Rams, 55-40. Jameis Winston threw for 385 yards and four touchdowns, complete exposing LA's supposed stoud defense.

Meanwhile, the Panthers stunned the Texans in Houston, and the Saints took down the Cowboys without Drew Brees running the offense.

Meanwhile, both the Chiefs and Patriots survived major scares against the Lions and Bills, respectively. With all of that being said, here's our updated look at how we think the playoff picture will turn out.

Predictions after Week 2

This past weekend, injuries dominated the headlines, as star quarterback Drew Brees went down with a thumb injury, while Ben Roethlisberger suffered a serious elbow injury. Brees is expected to miss around six weeks, while Big Ben is out for the year.

Obviously, this has a major impact on the postseason odds, as the Saints will now start Teddy Bridgewater and it will now be the Mason Rudolph show for the Steelers.

This will certainly affect both team's postseason odds, as we are know predicting Pittsburgh and New Orleans to miss the playoffs.
