Jaguars vs. Ravens Predictions, Picks, And Odds (11/5/26)

Los Angeles Rams safety Kam Curl (3) tackles Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (22) during the first quarter of the game at M&T Bank Stadium.

Jacksonville’s league-leading run defence gives us the strongest reason to back the Jaguars -9.5 against a Baltimore offence turning to Joe Fagnano for his first career start. The Jaguars visit the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 8:15 p.m. ET for Week 9 Thursday Night Football. Our Jaguars vs. Ravens prediction is taking Jacksonville with the points, but a sizeable road handicap keeps this a qualified pick.

Jaguars vs. Ravens Prediction

Jacksonville Jaguars -9.5: Jacksonville ranks first in the 2026 regular season in opponent rushing yards allowed per game (77.43) and per attempt (3.3875). Against a Baltimore offensive line reshuffled by injuries, that defensive front has a route to limiting Derrick Henry and putting more responsibility on Fagnano. He completed 10 of 21 passes for 91 yards and an interception in his NFL debut against Buffalo; asking him to sustain drives without a productive running game is a difficult assignment.

The Jaguars also have the scoring to support a full-game spread: they average 28.0 points and lead the NFL with 10 scores of at least 25 yards in 2026. Trevor Lawrence has thrown 17 touchdowns while completing 65.7% of his passes through seven regular-season games. Josh Hines-Allen described Jacksonville’s approach as “not underestimating or overestimating the opponent” and “not panicking, doing our job.” That discipline matters when the number demands more than a win.

Baltimore has lost five of its previous six home games, but those straight-up results don’t settle this wager. The Ravens are still at home, and Jacksonville must win by at least 10 points to cash. We’ll back the run-defence matchup and the more productive offence, without treating Baltimore’s quarterback disruption as an automatic blowout.

About the Jaguars (5-2 SU, 4-3 ATS, 3-4 o/u)

Jacksonville beat Indianapolis 42–7 on Nov. 1 for its fourth victory in five regular-season games. Lawrence passed for 210 yards and three touchdowns, while Bhayshul Tuten contributed 104 rushing yards and a rushing score. Production through both routes gave the Jaguars plenty of separation without requiring a huge passing-yard total.

Lawrence has 1,690 passing yards and four interceptions through seven regular-season games. The defence has allowed 111 points over that stretch, about 15.9 per game and the NFL’s second-lowest average.

Under second-year head coach Liam Coen, the Jaguars are 14–4 against AFC opponents and have outscored them 553–320. That plus-233 margin is the league’s best by 91 points over the same span.

Coen expects the Thursday turnaround to test both teams. “Everything gets a little expedited. Specifically, the previous game review gets a little bit expedited,” he said. He added that “a lot of this is going to be about mental and physical toughness.” Jacksonville still has to carry its execution into a compressed week, not simply carry over Sunday’s score.

About the Ravens (4-4 SU, 2-6 ATS, 4-4 o/u)

Baltimore has lost three consecutive regular-season games: 36–10 at Buffalo on Nov. 1, 35–13 against Cincinnati on Oct. 25, and 13–10 at Cleveland on Oct. 18. The Ravens haven’t scored more than 13 points in any of those outings.

The Buffalo loss exposed problems beyond the quarterback change alone. Baltimore generated 144 total yards, committed three turnovers and converted only three of 13 third downs. Protecting possessions and finding manageable third downs would give Fagnano a better chance to keep the offence moving.

Henry has 632 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns through eight regular-season games, but his production has slowed during the skid. He managed 156 yards on 45 carries across those three losses, about 3.5 yards per attempt. Baltimore needs more from the ground game to ease the burden on its passing attack.

Calais Campbell asked the home crowd for patience. “Hopefully the fan base comes out there and gives us an opportunity, gives us a little grace,” he said. “We win a couple games, and we’re still in it.”

Key Injuries

Baltimore lists Lamar Jackson out with a thumb injury, Tyler Huntley out with a toe injury and Durham Smythe out with an Achilles injury for Thursday’s game.

Ravens head coach Jesse Minter announced that Fagnano will make his first career start against Jacksonville. The rookie is also dealing with an ankle injury, adding another complication to Baltimore’s quarterback situation.

Jacksonville running back Bhayshul Tuten and defensive end Travon Walker are questionable.

Weather

The near-kickoff forecast at M&T Bank Stadium calls for mostly cloudy conditions and temperatures around 18 C. Winds will be light and won’t be a factor in this game.

  • Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange has recorded over 35.5 receiving yards in four straight games, hauling in no less than 44 yards in that span. He’s -115 to beat that mark again on Thursday.
  • Tuten has scored a touchdown in back-to-back games and in four of his last six. He’s +100 to score if he suits up.
  • Trevor Lawrence has thrown for two touchdowns or more in three straight games and in five of seven this season. He’s -130 to throw for over 1.5 TDs.
