Chicago’s 180 points to Seattle’s 168 through seven 2026 regular-season games give us an offensive foundation for backing the Chicago on the moneyline as our official Bears vs. Seahawks prediction. The Bears visit the Seahawks at Lumen Field on Monday, Nov. 2, at 8:15 p.m. ET for Week 8 Monday Night Football. We’re taking a shot on the upset, not expecting an easy road win.

Bears vs. Seahawks Predictions
- Chicago Bears moneyline: Ben Johnson’s ability to combine the running game with Caleb Williams’ passing offers Chicago a route to keeping Seattle off balance. The Bears’ scoring advantage gives that approach some backing, while their completed acquisition of Jeffery Simmons adds a specific reason to expect more disruption up front. Entering Week 8, Simmons had generated 28 pressures, including 10 pressures and three sacks when double-teamed. His 21 run stops were tied for second among defensive tackles.
- Bears offensive coordinator Press Taylor knows the challenge from facing him twice a year: “It was an absolute nightmare having to deal with him, just being aware of where he is, how you’re blocking him every given play.” That ability to demand attention against both the run and pass could help Chicago create the stops an upset requires, although his arrival doesn’t guarantee an immediate defensive improvement.
- Seattle supplies a substantial counterpoint at home: the Seahawks have allowed 125 points through seven regular-season games, compared with Chicago’s 143. Johnson still needs productive possessions, not just a varied play sheet. At plus money, we’ll back Chicago’s offensive flexibility and potential defensive reinforcement hoping to produce an outright win rather than take the points.

About the Bears (5–2 SU, 5-2 ATS, 3-4 o/u)
Chicago beat New England 30–24 at Soldier Field on Oct. 22, with Williams passing for 308 yards and two touchdowns. That followed a 305-yard outing against Atlanta, giving the Bears consecutive games with substantial production through the air.
Luther Burden supplied the explosive plays against the Patriots, catching four passes for 130 yards and a touchdown. Colston Loveland added seven catches for 69 yards and a score, while D’Andre Swift rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown. Johnson had several productive options rather than needing one receiver to carry the offence. Keeping those options involved would make it harder for Seattle to dictate how Chicago moves the ball.
Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen welcomed Simmons’ arrival with equal enthusiasm. “Anytime you get an opportunity to add a player of this significance, everybody gets excited,” Allen said. “I mean, it’s like waking up on Christmas morning and you go out and you see all the presents under the tree.” Turning that excitement into pressure and better run defence is the next assignment.
About the Seahawks (4–3 SU, 3-4 ATS, 3-4 o/u)
Seattle beat Kansas City 20–3 at Lumen Field on Oct. 25, outgaining the Chiefs 410–215. Kansas City managed only 165 passing yards and 50 rushing yards. That performance is a concrete warning against assuming Chicago’s recent passing success will travel without resistance.
Sam Darnold threw for 257 yards and a touchdown, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba catching nine passes for 150 yards and the score. Emanuel Wilson contributed 100 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown, giving Seattle production on the ground as well as through its leading receiver that night.
Chicago cannot afford to concentrate entirely on disrupting Darnold. Simmons’ work against the run matters to the upset case as much as his pass rush.
Key Injuries
Chicago has ruled out Cole Kmet with a knee injury, along with Kyle Monangai. Linebacker Jack Sanborn is expected to play after clearing the concussion protocol.
Seattle has ruled out Rashid Shaheed with a knee injury, Elijah Arroyo with a shoulder injury, and Velus Jones with a hamstring injury.
Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald said Zach Charbonnet would make his 2026 debut after recovering from the torn ACL he suffered in the divisional round. His return adds a backfield option alongside Wilson, but it doesn’t establish how the carries will be divided.
Weather
The near-kickoff forecast calls for cloudy skies, a temperature around 10°C, winds near 3 km/h, and a 0% chance of precipitation. Those conditions offer no compelling weather reason to change the Bears moneyline lean.
