Toronto Blue Jays @ New York Yankees
After living in Boston's shadow last season, the New York Yankees are on the verge of capturing the American League East Championship.
However, they'll face the Blue Jays this weekend, who will do everything they can to prevent the Yankees from celebrating. That is if New York doesn't seal the glory against the LA Angels first, though.
With a three-game series set to start on Friday, we'll take a look at each game in this piece and offer up our MLB picks and MLB predictions.

Yankees Are Heavy Favorites for Game 1
As of Wednesday morning, the Yankees hold one of the best records in all of the major leagues with a 99-53 mark. To be 46 games over .500 at this point is no simple task.
And with the team getting ready to host the woeful Blue Jays (60-91), there's no question the Yankees will be the favorites to kickstart the series.
Don't forget, it'll be a Friday night in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium. The fans will surely do everything they can to give the Blue Jays' pitchers and batters issues.
It's an easy pick to go with the Yankees to win this one.
Blue Jays Battle for a Game 2 Victory
Just because the Yankees are expected to be favorites for each game, don't think for a second Toronto is just going to roll over here.
Their season may be done, but the Blue Jays are playing for pride. Also, these two teams met just last week in Toronto and the Blue Jays were able to win two of the three games.
Because of this, we refuse to believe New York will sweep the series, and feel Toronto can get the job done in Game 2 for a road victory.
Yankees Should Cruise in Season Series Finale
Come Sunday, these two teams will be ready to dance at Yankee Stadium for the final game of the series. While the pitching matchups are yet to be announced, we like New York in this one.
Why? Because the bats have been getting hot once again and the pitching has been dominant. The return of Luis Severino came at the right time for the Bronx Bombers.
With the postseason around the corner, the Yanks are looking unbeatable. That's bad news for the rest of the bigs, and in this case, Toronto.
Will the Yankees End Their World Series Drought this Season?
It's been 10 long years since the New York Yankees last were able to bring home the World Series trophy. Will that change this year?
With 27 World Series wins to their name, the Yankees have the third-best odds to win it all this season per Sports Interaction.
New York has 5.00 odds, while the Astros are the favorites at 3.10 and the Dodgers hold 3.90 odds.
Think the Yankees will be able to get the job done later this fall? If so, get your bet in today.
