MLB Picks for June 26-27, 2019
With series ending Wednesday, and new ones opening Thursday, we present our mid-week MLB free picks. Following a few stumbles - we are on an 8-2 run and look to keep it rolling with the following predictions.
Yankees looking to sweep away the Blue Jays in the Bronx
Early Wednesday action has the Yankees aiming to sweep the Blue Jays in tilt that goes at 1:05 PM ET in the Bronx. Setting an MLB record Tuesday night, New York has now hit a homerun in 28 straight contests. Nearing full health, the Yankees are scoring at will theses days and we are backing the Bronx Bombers.
Texas Rangers duel with Detroit Tigers in a Motor City showdown
Winners of three straight, Texas looks to keep it rolling as they face Detroit for a 7:10 PM ET start at Comerica Park. The Rangers are trying to catch a stumbling Houston squad in the AL West while the Tigers trail Minnesota by 14.5 games in the AL Central. The Motown Cats are on a 1-9 slide so take Texas here.
Philadelphia Phillies host NL East Division rival New York Mets
Thursday MLB opens when the Mets and Phillies meet at Citizens Bank Park 1:05 PM ET. Both team have struggled some recently, during 3-7 runs, as Philadelphia (5.5 back) and New York (10 back) are both chasing Atlanta in the NL East. Aaron Nola (6-2 ERA 4.55) faces Zack Wheeler (6-5 ERA 4.69) – take the home side.
Oakland Athletics visit Los Angeles Angels for an all California clash
Hot during a 7-2 run, Oakland heads into Angel Stadium of Anaheim to open a four-game series with Los Angeles to close out the Thursday MLB slate. Recently, the Angels won three, then lost three and head into this tilt on a two-game winning streak. We like the Athletics over the Angeles with this MLB free pick.

MLB Picks for June 24-25, 2019.
Welcome to lucky Week 13 of the 2019 MLB season. Most teams will officially close the first half of their schedule during matches this week. Looking at June 24 and 25 action, here are our MLB free picks:
Yankees and Blue Jays play the first of three battles in the Bronx
Monday, MLB action features seven contests. On an 8-2 recent roll, New York (49-28) hosts Toronto (29-49) at 7:00 PM ET at Yankee Stadium. The Blue Jays have showed flashes of a team still battling but they trail the Yankees by 13.5 games in the AL East Division. Back the Bronx Bombers over the struggling young Jays.
Dodgers vs Diamondbacks rivalry clash features Kershaw vs Greinke
Part of the late Monday schedule, Los Angeles and Arizona renew their NL West Division rivalry at 9:40 PM ET at Chase Field. Former teammates, Zack Greinke (8-3 ERA 2.01) and Clayton Kershaw (7-1 ERA 2.85) will duel desert. The DBacks are 15 games behind the Dodgers and that number will rise to 16 after this contest.
Max Scherzer leads Washington Nationals into Miami to face Marlins
Washington and Miami square off at Marlins Park on Tuesday at 7:10 PM ET. The Nationals (37-40) are on a 5-2 winning run but trail NL East leading Atlanta by 8.5 games. Miami (30-46) has won four straight but sit 15 games behind the Braves. This bet is all about strikeout stud Max Scherzer mowing down the Marlins.
Chicago White Sox cruise into Beantown to face Boston Red Sox
We have a Sox mismatch when Boston hosts Chicago at 7:10 PM ET on Tuesday, June 25. The Red Sox are looking to rebound after losing two of three to the lowly Blue Jays. The White Sox have struggled to find consistency all season and sit 13 games behind Minnesota in the weak AL Central. Back the Red Sox.
Weekend MLB Picks for June 21-23, 2019
Ready for an exciting weekend of Major League Baseball betting action? We are as the card contains 48 contests with new three-game series opening Friday night. Here are our MLB weekend free picks.
Dallas Keuchel aims top help Atlanta lock up the NL East Division
MLB 2015 Cy Young winner Dallas Keuchel makes his season debut when Atlanta visits Washington at 7:05 PM ET on Friday at Nationals Park. Ending seven-months in free-agent limbo, it's safe to wonder if Keuchel will be rusty during his first start since 10/16/18 when he pitched for Houston in the 2018 MLB playoffs. Opposed by Nationals starter Stephen Strasburg, who has been hit hard recently, bet OVER 8.5 runs.
Set sail with Chris Sale and Boston Red Sox vs Toronto Blue Jays
Cashing in on two of his last three starts, we are going back to Chris Sale and the Red Sox as they host Toronto on Friday at 7:10 PM ET at historic Fenway Park. In addition to looking to keep Boston in the AL playoff race, the Sox are seven games behind New York, Sale will be aiming to avenge a 7-5 loss to the Blue Jays back on April 9. Sale sits fourth with 130 MLB strikeouts so back the Beantown flamethrower.
Minnesota sends one of their ace pitchers to the hill in Kansas City
An early start, at 2:25 PM ET at Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium on Saturday, features American League leading Minnesota visiting lowly Kansas. The Twins have a slim one-game lead on New York and Houston but they are 22.5 games clear of the Royals. Bet on Minnesota stud Jose Berrios (8-3 ERA 2.86) over Kansas City starter Danny Duffy (3-3 ERA 4.64) who has given up at least four runs in three of his last four starts.
Possible AL Championship battle features Yankees vs Astros on Sunday
Going into weekend MLB action, Houston (five losses) and New York (six wins) are currently on opposite runs. Despite the losing streak, Houston still owns a 7.5 game lead on Texas in the NL West. New York has built a 4.5 game lead on Tampa Bay in the AL East. Don't be surprised if these teams meet in the 2019 MLB postseason. Justin Verlander (2.59 ERA) gives the 'Stros an edge over A.J. Happ (4.59 ERA) in this contest.
MLB Picks for June 19, 2019
Mid-week MLB betting boards show a crowded slate of 16 games – including a Washington vs Philadelphia doubleheader. Below we post odds and picks on four contests.
Houston looks to avoid getting swept by lowly Cincinnati
Houston and Cincinnati meet for the final time this season as they square off at 12:35 PM ET at Great America Ball Park. Surprising many bettors - Cincinnati won the first two games of this three match set. Gerrit Cole (6-5 ERA 3.67) leads the league with 140 strikeouts and gives Houston an edge over Tyler Mahle (2-7 ERA 4.33) and Cincinnati.
Milwaukee aims for a win to close rough West Coast swing
Milwaukee, who have dropped four of five contests during a California swing, look to head home on a high note as they face San Diego at 1:40 PM ET at Petco Park. The Brewers send out ace Zach Davies (7-1 ERA 2.60) to face Matt Strahm (2-6 ERA 4.66) who has lost three straight outings. Back the Brewers to salvage a win in sunny San Diego.
Miami and St. Louis square off in the third of a four-game set
Following two games that ended with shutouts, the Cardinals won 5-0 Monday, before the Marlins posted a 6-0 win Tuesday, Miami and St. Louis square off at 8:15 PM ET at Busch Stadium. Daniel Ponce de Leon (0-0 ERA 2.00) starts for the Cardinals vs Trevor Richards (3-7 ERA 3.68) who was hit hard in his last outing. Soar with St. Louis here.
Los Angeles and San Francisco continue a close season series
Closing out a busy day of baseball betting action, Los Angeles hosts San Francisco at 10:10 PM ET at Dodgers Stadium. This is the twelfth meeting this season between these NL West and State rivals - the Dodgers own a slim 6-5 series lead. With Rich Hill (4-1 ERA 2.60) facing Drew Pomeranz (2-6 ERA 6.43) we are backing a Los Angeles win.
MLB Picks for June 17, 2019
Week 12 of the Major League Baseball season has arrived and with it there are 12 contests on the Monday, June 17, 2019, schedule. From an action packed slate - We discuss our top four betting choices below.
Rays roll into the Bronx for AL East battle versus the Yankees.
Starting to get healthy, plus acquiring slugger Edwin Encarnacion, New York opens a 3-game set vs Tampa Bay at 7:05 PM ET tonight. The Yankees have a half-game lead on the Rays in the AL East fight for first. New York owns a 4-2 season series lead over the Rays but we are expecting a close contest at Yankee Stadium.
Ornery Astros face the lowly Reds at Great America Ball Park
Houston visits Cincinnati, for the only time this season, as the Stros’ and Reds begin a three game series at 7:10 PM ET in the Queen City. Reminding us that anything can happen, on any given Sunday, the Astros were trashed 12-0 by Toronto yesterday. Bet on Houston (48-24) getting back on track vs lowly Cincinnati.
Atlanta begin NL East division rivalry duel with New York
Meeting for the second time this year, NL East Division leading Braves welcome the Mets to SunTrust Park at 7:20 PM ET. These teams met back in early April and split a four-game series. Since then, they have gone in different directions as New York trails Atlanta by 7.5 games. Back Canadian pitching stud Mike Soroka (7-1 ERA 1.92) here.
Cleveland Indians head to Texas to tussle with the Rangers
On a roll, during an 8-3 recent run, Cleveland sits a half-game out a Wild Card playoff spot in the American League. Texas is one of the teams the Indians are chasing as the Rangers, and along with Boston, sit five back of Tampa Bay. Recovered from a back strain take Mike Clevinger (1-0 ERA 0.00) over Lance Lynn (7-4 ERA 4.40) in this contest.
Weekend MLB Picks for June 14-16, 2019
A weekend of great MLB wagering action is upon us. The schedule is division heavy as we take a look at some of the better betting options available.
Blue Jays soar into Texas to take on the Astros on Friday
Taking two of three in Baltimore, Toronto faces a stiffer test during a three game set in Houston. The Blue Jays bats came to life with 20 runs in two wins over the Orioles. The Astros are on a 9-3 recent run and this contest is slated for 8:10 PM ET at Minute Maid Park. Roll with Gerrit Cole - the MLB strikeout leader.
Milwaukee opens three game series versus San Francisco
Closing out Friday, the Brewers and Giants meet at Oracle Park at 10:15 PM ET. Milwaukee has won five of six and send ace Zach Davies (7-0 ERA 2.41) to the hill. San Francisco has struggled to find consistency and it won’t help that Drew Pomeranz (1-6 ERA 7.16) gets the start here. Back the Brew Crew.
Chris Sale is the difference in Boston vs Baltimore Battle
Saturday action features an AL East contest as the Red Sox square off with the Orioles at 4:05 PM ET. Boston isn’t exactly lighting up the league but Baltimore is the lone occupant of the MLB basement. Red Sox starter Chris Sale has fanned at least ten batters in seven of his last eight starts and he gets our betting cash.
Back to the well with Hyun-Jin Ryu and the Dodgers
Sunday Game of the Week betting has Chicago clashing with Los Angeles at 7:08 PM ET. Though not his fault, he allowed one run over six innings during the Dodgers 5-3 loss to the Angeles, we lost with Hyun-Jin Ryu on Monday. Counting on his mates, to give him additional run support, bet on Los Angeles here.
MLB Picks for June 12, 2019
A mix of interleague and division action makes up the 12 matches on the MLB betting slate today. Following a dismal Monday – Let’s get back on track!
Oakland faces Tampa Bay in series rubber match
Closing out a ten-game road trip, the Athletics have a ripper with the Rays at 12:10 PM ET before heading home to California. Tampa Bay won the first game (6-2) and Oakland took the second contest (4-3) of this three game series. We like Rays Yonny Chirinos (7-2 ERA 2.87) over Brett Anderson (6-4 ERA 3.98) here.
Struggling squads battle in Baltimore at Camden Yards
Not at the All-Star break yet, it's already a lost season for Baltimore (21-45) and Toronto (23-43) who meet in Maryland at 7:05 PM ET. Gas cans head to the hill as Orioles David Hess (7.08 ERA) faces Blue Jays Edwin Jackson (11.90 ERA) in the battle on the bump. Take the home town Orioles Crew and +1.5 runs.
Atlanta looks to continue hot streak versus Pittsburgh
Having won the first two, of a four-game series with Pittsburgh, Atlanta is now in first place in the NL East. Meeting at SunTrust Park, the Braves vs Pirates duel is slated for 7:20 PM ET. Allowing one earned run or less, in nine of ten starts, Canadian Mike Soroka (7-1 ERA 1.38) gives Atlanta a big edge here.
Houston hosts Milwaukee in AL vs NL interleague action
Division leaders tussle in Texas as the Astros (46-22) battle the Brewers (38-29) at 8:10 PM ET at Minute Maid Park. We look to take advantage of another stud as Justin Verlander (9-2 ERA 2.31) leads the home side vs Brandon Woodruff (8-1 ERA 3.87). Wager on the 2017 World Series Champions in this contest.
MLB Picks for June 10, 2019
Following a nice run through Week 10, we went 9-3 and earned a +428 profit, Week 11 MLB action opens with a nine-game slate. Here are our 10/6/19 picks:
Pitchers duel on tap for Texas vs Boston at Fenway Park
Hot pitchers meet as Chris Sale battles Mike Minor when the Red Sox host the Rangers at 7:10 PM ET at Fenway Park. Sale fanned 12 Kansas City batters, and allowed three hits; in a complete game 8-0 win his last time out. Minor shut out Baltimore over seven innings but received a no-decision in his last start.
Arizona visits Philadelphia to opens three-game series
Back home, after a 2-4 west coast swing, Philadelphia just won two of three games vs Cincinnati. Arizona, who had posted a recent 3-7 record, rolled into Toronto and swept the Blue Jays by a combined 22-4 count. This contest goes at 7:05 PM ET at Citizens Bank Park and we are backing the Phillies here.
Back on a roll – Rays host Athletics at Tropicana Field
Tampa Bay is back on track as the Rays have won five of six matches. After a nine-game win streak, Oakland is 4-8 over their last 12 outings. Scheduled for 7:10 PM ET, Charlie Morton (7-0) gives the Rays a big edge over Tanner Anderson who is making his first career start for the struggling Athletics.
All LA battle has red-hot NL Dodgers visiting AL Angels
Steamrolling most in their path, the Dodgers face the Angels for a two-set interleague series that opens at 10:07 PM ET at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Allowing just 12 runs, over 80 innings so far this season, Hyun-Jin Ryu (9-1 ERA 1.35) battles Griffin Canning (2-2 ERA 3.52) in the pitching matchup.
Weekend MLB Picks for June 7-9, 2019
Packed with 45 contests, the MLB weekend schedule is loaded with betting options. Our free picks are below - Check back on game day to view prices!
Philadelphia hosts Cincinnati to open weekend action
Our weekend picks open with a Friday night fight as Philadelphia hosts Cincinnati at 7:05 PM ET at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies return home after a 2-4 west coast slide while the Reds continue an eight-game road trip. We like Zach Eflin (3.02 ERA) over Tyler Hahle (4.26 ERA) in this National League tilt.
Chicago sends out pitching ace to battle Kansas City
Part of the early action on Saturday, Chicago visits Kansas City for a 2:35 PM ET start at Kauffman Stadium. While we normally don’t deal with donkeys, the White Sox have an edge with stud RHP Lucas Giolito (8-1 ERA 2.54) on the hill. Odds will be posted soon - We are cruising with Chicago over Kansas City.
Washington visits San Diego to close out Saturday slate
As the last game on the Saturday schedule – the Nationals and Padres play at 10:10 PM ET at PETCO Park. This match caught our eye as Nats strikeout ace Max Scherzer heads to the hill to face the Friars who have struck out more (605) than every MLB team except Seattle. We anticipate a nice price on this contest.
Streaking Twins tame Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park
MLB third best, Minnesota rolls into Motown to battle Detroit on Sunday at 1:10 PM ET. We are betting on another ace here, as RHP Jake Odorizzi (8-2 ERA 1.96) owns the second best ERA in the league. On the other side Ryan Carpenter is sporting a bloated 6.23 ERA. Take the Twins to trash the host Tigers.
MLB Picks for June 5, 2019
Mid-week MLB action offers a full slate of games as all 30 teams hit the field on Wednesday. After researching the schedule – We like these four matches:
Hot Dodgers look to sweep struggling Diamondbacks
Part of the early action, at 3:40 PM ET, Los Angeles is trying to take a 6-1 season series lead over Arizona. The Dodgers outscored the DBacks 3-1 and 9-0 in the first two games as they aim for a sweep. While it is tough to win three straight road matches - back the Dodgers who have won their last seven games.
Injury ravaged New York seeks revenge against Toronto
Fielding what amounts to minor league squad, due to a bunch of injuries, the Yankees look to rebound after a 4-3 loss to the Blue Jays. Toronto won for the second time in twelve outings while New York dropped back-to-back contests for the first time in a month. Trust RHP James Paxton to baffle the Blue Jays.
Tampa Bay Rays aim to stop a skid in Detroit vs Tigers
Losers of four straight - Tampa Bay battles Detroit. The Tigers took the series opener 9-6 to earn their fourth win over 20 games. Stumbling some recently, the Rays still own a five-game lead in the AL Wild Card race. RHP Charlie Morton (6-0) has allowed two or less runs in ten of his last twelve starts.
World Series Champion Boston visits lowly Kansas City
Looking to get past their World Series hangover - Boston has struggled early in the season. A trip to Kansas City will help as the Royals are tied with Baltimore in the MLB basement. Strikeout ace LHP Chris Sale fanned 66 batters over six starts in May. That’s enough for us to back the Red Sox over the Royals.
MLB Picks for June 3, 2019
Hitting the one-third mile-pole marker, of the 2019 MLB season, a four-game slate opens Week 10 hardball action. Here are our previews and predictions:
Angels clash with Cubs at Wrigley Field in Chicago
Sitting 10.5 back of Houston in the AL West, Los Angeles (29-30) travels from Seattle to Chicago for a makeup game vs the Cubs. The Windy City Crew (31-26) is 1.5 games behind Milwaukee in the NL Central. The Angels are hot at 7-3 while the Cubs are on a 2-8 slide. Side with Jon Lester and the Cubs here.
Dodgers and Diamondbacks NL West duel in the desert
— Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) June 3, 2019
Running away with the NL West Division, Los Angeles (41-19) owns a big led on Colorado (9), San Diego (10.5) Arizona (11) and San Francisco (16). On fire all season, the Dodgers are on a 12-3 roll while the Diamondbacks (30-30) have struggled to a 5-10 recent mark. It's tough to bet against the Dodgers right now.
NL East leading Phillies battle the Padres at Petco Park
Playing better than they have in years, San Diego (28-26) hosts Philadelphia (31-22) for the first of three games today. Without a winning record on any day since June 8, 2015 - the Friars have been below .500 once (May 19) this season. We feel Phillies starting ace Aaron Nola (6-0) will keep the Padres bats quiet.
Slumping Seattle hosts AL West Division leading Houston
Still one more series left on the homestand—and we've got three straight Mariners Value Games on deck.
See you at @TMobilePark.
— Seattle Mariners (@Mariners) June 3, 2019
Following a terrific 13-2 season start, Seattle (25-37) has fallen on tough times as the Mariners are just 12-35 since. Houston (40-20) started the Seattle slide with a 3-game sweep of the M's in their first season series back in April. The Astros are 19-14 on the road while the Mariners are a dismal 12-19 at home.
Weekend MLB Picks for May 31-June 2, 2019
We've got a full slate of MLB games set for the weekend, highlighted by the monster series in the Bronx between the New York Yankees and defending World Series champion Boston Red Sox.
Which games/series should bettors out there keep their eyes on? In our weekend preview, we take a look at four games of intrigue.
Braves should take down the Tigers on Friday
On Friday, the Atlanta Braves will take on the struggling Detroit Tigers and send hard-throwing righty Mike Foltynewicz to the bump. After a tough start to the season, ‘Folty’ looked sharp against the Cardinals last Friday.
He tossed six innings, giving up one run in six innings of work. Look for him to have another strong showing against the Tigers. Behind the strong bats of Ronald Acuña, Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley, this one should pose no problems for Atlanta.
Cardinals will be ready for Yu Darvish and Cubs on Friday night
Has there been a worse signing in Cubs history than Yu Darvish? The superstar hurler signed a six-year, $126 million deal last February with Chicago and has done nothing but disappoint. This year, he owns a 2-3 record, with a 5.40 ERA. In his last three starts, he’s given up 11 earned runs in 15.1 innings of work.
The Cardinals are favored to beat Chicago on Friday night, sending Miles Mikolas to the hill. Take St. Louis in this one.
Yankees and Red Sox set for weekend series in the Bronx
The Bronx is going to be rocking this weekend, as the Yankees will host the Red Sox for a three-game series. We’ve got our eyes on Saturday, though, with a pitching matchup between Domingo German and Eduardo Rodriguez.
German has been sensational this year, posting a 9-1 record and 3.43 ERA. Rodriguez on the other hand is sporting a 5.04 ERA. This will spell trouble for the Red Sox, as they’ll face a powerful NY lineup. The advantage here goes to the Yankees, who should take home the victory.
Mariners will be saved by Marco Gonzales on Sunday
After an 11-2 start to the year, the Seattle Mariners have looked like the worst team in baseball. This is good news for the Angels, who are facing the M’s this weekend. However, come Sunday, look for starting pitcher Marco Gonzales to save Seattle and take down the Angels.
Though Mike Trout will be looking to have a monster game, Gonzales has been one of the few bright spots for the Mariners with his 3.96 ERA. He’ll answer the call on Sunday and power Seattle to a much-needed victory.
