Yankees @ Toronto Blue Jays
After eliminating the Boston Red Sox from AL East contention earlier this week, the Yankees are now looking to wrap things up in the division sooner than later. This weekend, they'll hope to only strengthen their hold in Canada with a three-game series starting on Friday.
Unfortunately for the Toronto Blue Jays, they've long been eliminated from playoff contention, but will look to play spoiler to the Yanks this weekend.
Will they be able to get the job done? In this piece, we take a look at each game and offer up our free MLB picks.

- 02Paxton will continue his unreal streak come Saturday
- 03What will Game 3 have in store for both teams?
- 04Yankees have the World Series on their minds
Can the Blue Jays give Tanaka troubles on Friday?
Masahiro Tanaka is no stranger to the Rogers Centre, as he's getting ready to make his 10th-career start there. The results thus far have been a bit of a mixed bag.
Tanaka, who will get the starting nod on Friday, is 4-3 with a 3.18 ERA against Toronto on its home field. What will Game 1 of the series bring?
Though the Yankees are the best team in the AL East right now, this will be the Blue Jays' golden chance to steal a game from the Bronx Bombers. We think they'll get lucky and take home the first game of the series.
Paxton will continue his unreal streak come Saturday
Has there been a better pitcher in the bigs of late than James Paxton? Entering Saturday's tilt, the veteran lefty is 8-0 in his last eight starts with a 2.57 ERA.
With the postseason right around the corner, Paxton is sizzling hot at the right time. Unfortunately for Toronto, they're not likely to quiet him down.
With Paxton on the hill showcasing his unbeatable form, we'll take the Yankees not only to win Game 2 of this series, but also cover the spread in the process.

What will Game 3 have in store for both teams?
While the pitching matchups are yet to be announced for the two teams, it's safe to expect New York's hot bats to keep on going.
Luke Voit has become a home run machine, and the bats of Aaron Judge, Didi Gregorius, Gary Sanchez and others aren't going anywhere.
The Yankees have been playing like one of the best teams in the bigs, and there's no way they'll allow themselves to go to Canada and not win the series.
Come Sunday, we'll take them to close things out with a comfortable victory.
Yankees have the World Series on their minds
It's been a long drought for the New York Yankees, but will this be the year they take home the World Series title?
Their fans sure hope so, as New York is looking like a serious contender to capture all of the glory. However, teams like the Astros and Dodgers have higher odds to get the job done.
But, do you think Judge, Sanchez, Voit, Paxton and others can help guide this team to the promised land? If so, don't hesitate and get your bet in ASAP.
