Can the Diamondbacks Upset the Cardinals on Monday?
The Cardinals and Diamondbacks are getting ready to start a series at Chase Field in the desert. Come Monday, St. Louis will start stud Adam Wainwright, while the D-Backs will have Alex Young on the mound.
Young has quietly had a solid season, as he's 7-4 with a 3.27 ERA. He'll have the tough task of trying to silence the STL bats, as the team is getting ready for postseason action.
Although Arizona will be watching the playoffs from home, we think they'll earn a win on Monday.

Gerrit Cole Will Cruise Against the Mariners on Tuesday
As everyone expected, it's been another sensational season for the Houston Astros and stud starting pitcher Gerrit Cole.
On the season, the righty is 18-5, with a 2.61 ERA. Unfortunately, we also expected this to be another down year for the Mariners. With it being late in the season of a bad campaign, they'll send youngster Justin Dunn (0-0) to the hill.
Houston is rolling and we see them to coving the -1.5 spread in an easy win.
Gerrit Cole has reached 300 strikeouts on the season in 198 1/3 IP. Per @EliasSports, that's the 2nd-fewest innings pitched in a season at the time of a player's 300th strikeout in MLB history.

Rangers Keep Boston's Nightmare Going on Thursday
After winning the World Series last year, the hangver for the Boston Red Sox has been worse than imaginable. The team has been eliminated from playoff contention. Brutal.
Later this week, they'll meet with the Texas Rangers. On Thursday night, the AL West club will start Mike Minor, who has a 3.52 ERA.
Both teams will be playing for pride, but we like the Rangers in this one. Go with Texas.

Dodgers' Odds to Win World Series Keeps Climbing
With the postseason almost here, the Dodgers continue to be one of the few teams to watch for a World Series run. They're no stranger to the Fall Classic in recent year, but they haven't been able to come away with a win.
Will that end up changing this year?
According to Sports Interaction, LA currently has 4.00 odds to win it all. The Astros are the favorites at 3.00, but the Dodgers certainly have what it takes. Think they'll do so? Get your bets in today.
