It’s officially do-or-die time for the Minnesota Twins. After losing both games to the New York Yankees in the Bronx, Minnesota will have to come out on top Monday night in order to extend their season.
It certainly will be no easy task, as Didi Gregorius, Aaron Judge, Gleyber Torres and others are swinging hot bats right now. However, with the series moving to Target Field, the Twins will hope home-field advantage does the trick for them.

Yankees are the favorites to win Game 3
With the way they’ve been playing this postseason - it should come as no surprise that the Yankees are favorites to win Game 3 and wrap the series up.
They are 1.5-run favorites to get the job done. They’ll be sending Luis Severino to the mound to attempt to finish off the Twins. However, Minnesota will send out stud hurler Jake Odorizzi.
On the year, Odorizzi has a 15-7 record, with a 3.51 ERA. Can he stun New York and keep his team’s season alive?
While New York is the better team on paper, we think Minnesota will be able to keep its season alive for one more game. We’re surprisingly picking the Twins to win tonight.
Pitchers' duel expected for Monday night
Offense has not been an issue in this series. For fans who like a lot of runs to be scored, that’s what they’ve seen in the first two games.
In Game 1, New York won 10-4, while they came out on top 8-2 in Game 2. So, what should we expect for Game 3?
Well, with Severino and Odorizzi on the bump, the two teams aren’t expected to blow up with runs.
Somehow, the Over/Under is set at nine runs. That’s high. Go with the UNDER here.

Houston @ Tampa Bay ALDS Game 4
New York is the first team to advance to the second round. Who will they meet in the American League Championship Series – Houston or Tampa Bay?
Staving off elimination, the Rays the Astros 10-3 in Game 3 of their series. Game 4 is set for 08/10/19 in Florida with Houston as road chalk.
Super stud Justin Verlander heads to the hill for the ‘Stros in Game 4. The future Hall of Fame pitcher has been lights out and this is the end of the road for the Cinderella Rays.
Will the Yankees get back to the World Series?
Fans all over New York are hoping the streak of failing to get to the World Series will come to an end this year.
This team most certainly has what it takes to get to the Fall Classic. As it stands, the Yankees have the second-best odds to win the American League Pennant behind the Houston Astros.
Remember, Houston knocked New York out of the MLB postseason two years ago. Will the Bronx Bombers get a measure of revenge this year?
If you think the Yankees can get the job done, get your bets in.
