Friday's Showdown in L.A. will be a wild one
There’s no denying both the Yankees and Dodgers are the two best teams in the bigs right now. So, come Friday night at Dodger Stadium, things will be electric. Who has the edge?
Well, New York will enter this game on a small cold streak on the road against the Indians and Athletics. L.A. will look to take advantage of that, as they’ve stayed red hot.
As everyone knows, both teams feature briliant superstar lineups and incredible pitching. In what should be a close contest for Game 1, we’ll give the Dodgers the slight advantage and pick them to win, especially with stud Hyun-Jin Ryu getting the start.
Dodgers will hold advantage for Game 2 as well
While CC Sabathia will forever be a Yankees legend, he’s 39 years old and his age has certainly been showing in his last three starts. In that stretch, CC is 0-3 and hasn’t lasted more than 4.1 innings.
With the Dodgers set to face him on Saturday, it’s got the recipe for disaster for the Yankees. Guys like Cody Bellinger, Joc Pederson, Justin Turner, Max Muncy and others will look to have a field day against Sabathia.
Unfortunately for New York, this will lead to another road loss. Go with the Dodgers for Game 2.
Another day, another walk-off...

Max Muncy decided it was time to go HOME...so he sent one into the stands!! 💪

Domingo German will save New York for Game 3
In the last game of the series, New York will be sending out star right-handed pitcher Domingo German to the bump. He’s been lights out.
This season, German has a 16-3 record, with 131 strikeouts. He’s been among the best hurlers in the game and will look to silence the Dodgers.
We fully believe German will be able to get the job done and salvage a game for the Yankees on Sunday.
Sunday's tilt will be quite low scoring
Though New York will send out Aaron Judge, Didi Gregorius, Gleyber Torres and more stars to the plate, while LA’s studs were listed above, don’t think Sunday will be raining with runs.
With German on the hill for New York he’ll look to silence the Dodger bats. And though the Dodgers’ starter hasn’t been named yet, New York’s bats have gone a touch quite on the road in recent games.
Because of this, look for the two teams to battle it out in a bit of a pitchers’ duel, with the UNDER run total looking the most attrative.
Domingo German is the first MLB pitcher this season to 16 wins.

He has a legitimate chance to become the first Yankee with a 20-win season since CC Sabathia in 2010.
