Who will keep their season going?
At this point in the season, it's win or go home for the Wild Card games. Both the Nationals and Brewers know this, which is why both clubs will be playing with desperation.
For the Nationals, they'll send ace hurler Max Scherzer to the hill, while Brandon Woodruff will get the nod for Milwaukee. Entering the game, Washington clearly has the upper hand.
According to Sports Interaction, the Nats are 1.5-point favorites for this one and hold 1.55 moneyline odds. That's because of how dominant Scherzer is when he's hurling the ball. Will he power Washington to victory? We think so.
Nationals and Brewers will be closer than you think
Though we believe Washington will take down Milwaukee in the NL Wild Card game on Tuesday, don't expect a ton of offense in this one.
With Max Scherzer on the mound for the Brewers, he should have little trouble keeping their bats silence throughout the night.
As for Milwaukee, they'll start Brandon Woodruff, but won't hesitate to utilize their strong bullpen against Washington's offense.
With the over/under set at 7.5 runs, that could prove to be a hard number to hit. Go with the under in this case.

Nationals will get on the board first
As it stands, the Nationals seem like the safe bet to win this one, we've made that much clear. But, who will score first?
Again, with Scherzer's dominant stuff taking the hill for Washington, it's going to be a struggle for Milwaukee to get runs on the board. Look for the Nats to take advantage of this.
The odds of Washington scoring first on Tuesday is set at 1.90. Can they deliver? You better believe it.
Nats have fourth-highest odds to win NL Pennant
Just because the Nationals sneaked their way into the NL postseason, that doesn't meant they won't be able to make plenty of noise.
Entering the playoffs, Washington has the fourth-highest odds to win the NL Pennant at 8.50. They're behind the Dodgers (1.80), Braves (4.00) an d St. Louis (8.00) to advance to the World Series.
With their studly pitching, this team can't be ignored. Think they have what it takes? Feel free to place your bet in today.
