Astros hold an advantage for Game 3
What a thrilling ALCS it’s been thus far, with the Yankees winning Game 1, but the Astros evening things up on Sunday night in Game 2.
For Game 3, on 15/10/19, the scene shift to New York, but Houston will have the advantage due to one major reason: Pitcher Gerrit Cole.
The ace righty has been one of the more dominant starters in the game this season. He’s posted at least 10 strikeouts in his last 11 starts. That’s unreal.
As for New York, Luis Severino will get the start, but don’t forget he faced Houston twice in the 2017 ALCS and they lit him up.
With Cole on the bump, Houston’s MLB odds to win the game sure will be favorable. We’re picking them to win Game 3.
Expect another battle for Game 4 in the Bronx
With the lineups both of these teams feature, making MLB picks and predictions for the ALCS sure hasn’t been easy. That’ll be the same case for Game 4 on 17/10/19.
Following the rain-out on Wednesday - Game 4 of the 2019 ALCS is now set for Thursday at Yankee Stadium. The Astros look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead while the Yankees are trying to even things up at 2-2 prior to Game 5 in New York.
Starting pitchers have been announced with Zack Greinke (18-5 ERA 2.93) going for Houston and Masahiro Tanaka (11-9 ERA 4.45) getting the call for New York.

He broke a tie with Sandy Koufax (6) after tonight's start -- and did so against an Astros team that was held to 2 runs or less just 33 times all year.
Astros remain the favorites to win the World Series
Throughout the majority of the season, the Astros have been pegged as the favorites to win the 2019 World Series. Thus far in the postseason, that hasn’t changed.
Their starting rotation is superb, but we’re seeing time and time again how clutch Carlos Correa, George Springer, Alex Bregman, Jose Altuve and others can be. Did you see Correa’s walk-off dinger in Game 2? Yup, that was money.
Houston holds the best odds to win the World Series at 2.75. If you think they will win it all, get your bet in.
Can the Yankees bring home title No. 28?
While the Yankees are underdogs to win the AL Pennant and get back to the World Series, that doesn’t mean they should be ignored here. Matter of fact, this team has all the tools to win the Fall Classic.
Despite their rotation being a bit inconsistent, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Didi Gregorius, Gleyber Torres and others have what it takes to go off on any given night, regardless of who they’re facing.
New York holds 3.50 odds to win the World Series. Think they’ll capture their 28th title? Get your bet in.
