- 01Vegas Golden Knights (1.75) vs New York Rangers (2.10)
- 02Parlay Pick: Ranger to win & under 6 total (4.05)
- 03Both teams busy In the first, both teams score in the first (2.75)
Vegas Golden Knights (1.75) vs New York Rangers (2.10)
The Rangers have been playing excellently this season. They have won four of their last five games and sit on a record of 13-9-3 for the season outright.
The Rangers came up against the Bruins midweek, which they narrowly missed out on winning as the Bruins pulled off a 3-2 win in OT. But the result is a testament to the quality this New York side brings.
The Golden Knights haven’t been playing as well as the Rangers, but they are managing to get points in the win column and sit on a record of 13-11-4.
Vegas won their last two games against the Nashville Predators and the Arizona Coyotes, which will give them momentum on the road to New York.
The Rangers will be aware of their record at home this season, where they’ve seen great success going 8-4-2 in front of the home fans.
Take the Rangers to win this one.

Parlay Pick: Ranger to win & under 6 total (4.05)
Vegas are only 5 points off leading the Pacific Division. McDavid and Edmonton still control the league, but the Knights streak they’re starting to build is now pushing them up the NHL power rankings.
One real shining light for the Knights this season has been Marc-Anthony Fleury, who goes 11-6-2 outright for the season.
His antics in goal have given him some great stats; he has a 2.54 GAA and a 91% save percentage. He received an injury against Edmonton last week, but if he plays, this will be a big boost for the Knights.
The Rangers also have a hot goalie right now. It was MacKenzie Blackwood who was in between the pipes on Saturday night’s win over the New Jersey Devils.
Both teams have strong goalies and aren’t allowing too many goals through, so we feel this will stay under 6 goals in total.
Take the Rangers to win and over 6.0 total.
Both teams busy In the first, both teams score in the first (2.75)
For our NHL free picks for today, we felt this game was by far the most entertaining game for real hockey fans. Given the form New York are in we think they’ll edge it, but it’ll be a tight contest.
The Knights have an excellent power-play unit which is ninth in the NHL with a 21.8% success rate, while they have an 84.6% penalty kill rate.
While the Rangers have a 20.8% power-play success rate that ranks eleventh in the NHL, with a 76.8% penalty kill rate that ranks 23rd in the NHL this season.
Due to the fact the NHL betting odds are so good, we thought this worth a punt. Both teams will be hungry to take something away from this, expect goals in the first.
Expect both teams to score in the first.
