The Sabres will feel good about the game, having taken the points in 4 of the last 5 meetings between these two sides.

Arizona Coyotes (2.00) vs Buffalo Sabres (1.83), take Coyotes on this one.
Buffalo have enjoyed some great home performances this season and results have shown they could be a force in the league. They are on a record of 9-2-1 coming into game 13.
The Coyotes have been very good offensively and will prove to be a difficult matchup. They’re 2-1 on their interconference road swing and will look to finish it off with a win in Western New York.
A win over the Calgary Devils in their last means they sit at 6-3-1 outright.
The matchup favours the Sabres, as they have won 4 of their last 5 meetings; including a 3-1 home win in the most recent game back in December 2018. It will be a tough contest with lots of hard hitting and quality offensive play.
The NHL betting odds favour the Buffalo Sabres, however we feel the Coyotes are in a rich vein of form that will carry them over the line.
Take Arizona Coyotes to beat the Buffalo Sabres.
One for the homeside, Buffalo Sabres to win & game over 4.5 (3.54)
Buffalo haven’t been short of goal scorers this season. The Sabres shutout the Red Wings in their last, with McCabe and Reinhart grabbing the goals.
The Sabres are well-stacked in offensive players, aside from last game’s goalscorers they still have the likes of Eichel, Olofsson, Skinner and Sheary. The homeside will also be encouraged by the return of key defenseman Brandon Montour to training.
Aside from a beating at the hands of the Rangers last week, the Sabres have been sitting in the win column. They’re fluid interchange and ruthlessness in front of goal has led then to the top of the Atlantic Division.
We all know what both teams are capable of and with two in-form teams facing off in a matchup like this, there’s guaranteed to be a goals.
Take the Buffalo Sabres to win at home and the game to go over 4.5.
Save the action until the end, highest scoring period In the third (3.30)
Both teams will be well-rested and should be fully prepared for the tie. We expect an offensive display from both sides, with the goaltenders making the difference.
Linus Ullmark recorded 41 saves in the shootout against the Red Wings. Though he will likely step aside for Canadian vet Carter Hutton.
We feel this game is destined to be a closely fought affair. Two sides with great records having gained momentum in recent games. It may start off with lots of action or end with it, but either way these sides won’t back down.
Take the highest scoring period In the third.

Coyotes left winger to light the lamp, Nick Schmaltz anytime goalscorer (4.00)
Schmaltz scored a goal and an assist in Friday’s 5-3 win over the devils, which takes him to 4 goals and 7 assists for the season outright.
After seeing his side get their 6 game point streak broken by the Islanders, the Wisconsin man stepped up and delivered.
He had a torrid time after being sidelined with a major knee injury at the start of the year. But seems to have found his feet now.
It’s been about 8 years since Schmaltz was linking up with Dvorak in the youth hockey leagues, but we are beginning to see the effectiveness of the dynamic duo at NHL level.
Expect Nick Schmaltz to score anytime during the game.
