Tampa Bay @ Carolina: 12/09/19 at 8:20 PM ET
We're wasting no time this season getting in a nice NFC South showdown between the Buccaneers and Panthers. Both teams are looking for their first victories of the year, as the two lost in Week 1.
For Tampa Bay, quarterback Jameis Winston is coming off a forgettable performance against the 49ers in which he threw for one touchdown and three interceptions. The Panthers on the other hand were taken down by the defending NFC champion LA Rams.
Carolina will be hosting Thursday night's showdown at Bank of America Stadium and will enter the gridiron as seven-point favorites.
While we don't think they'll cover the spread, we do expect Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey to power this team to a Week 2 victory.
Dallas @ Washington: 15/09/19 at 1:00 PM ET
Dallas Cowboys versus the Washington Redskins. Do we need to say anything else? This NFC East rivalry goes back decades. Straight up, these two teams hate each other.
Come Sunday, they'll both get ready to hit the field, with Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys looking to improve to 2-0 on the year.
Dallas dominated the Giants last weekend, with Prescott stealing the show through the air. Now, he'll look to do the same on the road in Washington.
The Cowboys are 5.5-point favorites for this tilt. Though the Redskins are the home team, look for Dallas to cover the spread.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Houston Texans: 15/09/19 at 1:00 PM ET
The Texans suffered a rough loss on the road to the Saints last week, with Wil Lutz breaking Houston hearts everywhere.
This week, they'll host the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team which lost quarterback Nick Foles for around two months due to a broken collarbone. Houston will look to rattle Jacksonville's rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew, who will be making his first-career NFL start come Sunday.
The Texans are 9.5-point favorites for this showdown per Sports Interaction (SIA). Minshew looked sharp last week against Kansas City's defense, tossing for two touchdowns.
While we don't think the 'Mississippi Mustache' can lead the Jags to a road win, he'll keep things close enough for his team to cover.
Can the Patriots repeat as Super Bowl champions?
The New England Patriots looked downright sensational last week in their victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tom Brady hasn't aged a bit, while receiver Josh Gordon was as good as advertised.
NE went into the season as the heavy Super Bowl favorites and that hasn't changed one bit. Per Sports Interaction (SIA), the Pats hold 4.50 odds to win it all once again this year.
Keep in mind, the organization just signed Antonio Brown and will be adding him to Brady's weapons list sooner than later. While teams like the Chiefs, Ravens and Chargers will look to take down the Pats in the AFC, it could be a task far too daunting.
Think New England has what it takes to win another Vince Lombardi Trophy? If you do, go ahead and place a bet on them.
