NBA Free Picks & Predictions: Orlando Magic @ Toronto Raptors
Wednesday night NBA takes us to the Scotiabank Arena for Eastern Conference matchup, with the Raptors hosting the Magic.
The Magic have been in great form of late and will look to secure their fourth consecutive win. Toronto put the Hornets to the sword in their last, after losing out to Luca Doncic and the Mavericks.
Can Toronto end the Magic’s winning run?

Orlando Magic (2.50) @ Toronto Raptors (1.50)
The Raptors have enjoyed a strong season so far, they’ve slipped up on a few occasions but have certainly shown they are still hungry and don’t want to sit back and revel in last seasons’ success. They sit at 9-4 for the campaign.
Orlando got off to a pretty poor start, but have since kicked on and are now looking for their fourth consecutive win.
They have struggled offensively, but managed to put up 125 points against the Wizards in their last.
One thing that will be giving Nick Nurse and his team a lot of confidence in this one, is the fact they’re at home.
The homeside advantage has been huge for them this season, registering 5 wins from five games at the Scotiabank Arena.
It gets worse for the visitors, as they sit on a record of 4 losses from four road games outright this season. The NBA betting odds heavily favour a Raptors victory tonight, and so do we.
Take the Raptors to win at home.
Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win & total over 209.5 (3.07)
This is an excellent matchup between two teams with a similar setup. Both teams have great defensive records, which is reflected in their results this season.
The Magic are holding opponents to 101.5 points per game, while the Raptors, who are 7th in the NBA power rankings, are conceding 106.1 points per game. The Magic take the edge in the heads up for defensive stats.
However, the Raptors offense has shown to be excellent this season, despite seeing their star player move on in the summer. But they’ve adapted and are still putting high scores in their games for the 2019/20 campaign.
In terms of offense for both sides, the Raptors are averaging 113.3 points per game, rather than the 102.2 points per game that the Magic are putting up. This will likely be the deciding factor in the game.
Expect Toronto to win & over 209.5 in total.

Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win the first half & first half total under 107.0 (3.45)
The Raptors are still without Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka. They have OG Anunoby back now, even though he took a direct hit to the eye, again, during the victory over the Hornets.
He’s due to play this one though, but wearing a protective mask.
Stanley Johnson is the latest in a long list of injuries for Toronto, but they’ve managed to continue to grind out wins. One wonders how well they’d be doing, if Nick Nurse had a fully-fit roster.
The Raptors must come out early and attempt to halt the momentum that the Magic have due to their recent form. If Orlando get ahead early on, it could spell a long night at the Scotiabank Arena.
The defense is fairly evenly matched, so it’s in offense where the Raptors must focus. We expect them to come out firing early and try to take control of the game. We feel this is a great wager and our NBA free pick of the day.
Take the Raptors to win the first half & first half under 107.0 in total.
