NBA Free Picks & Predictions: New York Knicks @ Milwaukee Bucks

NBA on Monday brings us an Eastern Conference matchup between the league leaders in the Bucks, and 28th in the NBA power rankings the New York Knicks.

The Knicks will have to go up a level, or ten, if they are to take points away from this matchup. The Bucks are on an 11-game win streak, while the Knicks are on a 6-game losing streak.

Giannis to tear through the Knicks?

New York Knicks (9.88) vs Milwaukee Bucks (1.08)

We head to the Fiserv Forum Milwaukee for this one, where Giannis and the Bucks will look to dismantle the Knicks shakey defense.

The NBA betting odds heavily favour a Bucks win in Milwaukee and it’s clear why. Giannis has been taking teams to pieces, scoring 50 against the Jazz recently. The Bucks are 17-3 overall.

But it’s the Bucks team dynamic that have impressed us more this year than last. In Milwaukee’s win over the Hornets in their last, Giannis only managed to put up 26. Though he led the scoring, it was the team’s contribution that earned the win.

The Knicks have been pretty terrible throughout the season and sit at 4-16 outright. The Knicks aren’t producing enough in attack and they simply don’t have the talent to stop Giannis from running-riot at Fiserv.

Expect the Bucks to win this one with ease.

Parlay Pick: Bucks to win & over 221.5 total (3.01)

The Knicks haven’t won a game since they overcame the Cavaliers back in the middle of November. We feel tonights’ game will not be any more fruitful for David Fizdale’s men.

We wanted to give the Bucks an NBA free pick this week as they are now joint leaders in the NBA league outright, with the Lakers (who were on a 10-game winstreak) missing out to the Mavericks in their last game.

In terms of offense for the Knicks it’s been all about Marcus Morris Sr., who is averaging 18.7 points per game along with 6.2 rebounds. Though they may be without Morris tonight as he’s still nursing a neck injury.

We made the over pick for this one because it’s clear Giannis is going to be putting up points tonight. There aren’t even the players on paper to stop him, so how they’ll actually manage is a mystery to us.

Take a win for the Bucks and a total over 221.5.

Giannis Antetokounmpo to score over 32.5 (2.55)

This man doesn’t seem to take a break. While we often hear about LeBron, Harden and the young Slovenian Luca Doncic, it’s Giannis who continues to make the best claim for the NBA MVP 2020 award.

With each game that passes, he seems to further cement himself as the league’s best player. The players around Antetokounmpo aren’t of the same calibre that we see alongside the other MVP candidates.

This is what makes him so much more impressive. The fact he doesn’t rely on other players, though he is a team player, is something to admire. His athleticism and consistency make him our #1 MVP candidate.

He put up a modest 26 in his last game against Charlotte. Though overall he averages 30.9 points per game, 13.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists.

Take Giannis Antetokounmpo to score over 32.5 overall.
