NBA Free Picks & Predictions: Toronto Raptors @ Los Angeles Clippers
Monday night basketball takes us to the STAPLES Center, as the Los Angeles Clippers host the Toronto Raptors in what’s sure to be the pick of the games to start the week.
The Toronto Raptors battle it out in LA against a familiar face in Kawhi Leonard, who has made a great start to his Clippers career.
Can the Raptors make Kawhi regret his decision to leave?
- 01Toronto Raptors (5.50) vs Los Angeles Clippers (1.15)
- 02Raptors to win It & total points over 218.5 (7.03)
- 03Clippers Pick: Clippers to win & Kawhi Leonard to make over 29.5 (3.28)
Toronto Raptors (5.50) vs Los Angeles Clippers (1.15)
The NBA betting odds are highly favourable for the Clippers, even though the Raptors have made a better start to the season and come into this game having recorded back-to-back wins.
The Raptors are at 7-2 for the season outright. They overcame LeBron and the Lakers in their last game at home, winning it 113-104 in the end.
They had been on a 7-game win streak before that, so the win will give the Raptors a lot of confidence.
The Clippers are on 6-3 outright for the season. An away loss on the road to the Milwaukee Bucks last week put an end to any kind of momentum they were building.
Expect a physical contest between this pair of excellent defensive teams. The Raptors have been excellent so far this campaign and will look to continue in that vein of form tonight.
Take Raptors to win on the road.

Raptors to win It & total points over 218.5 (7.03)
The loss of Kawhi Leonard will be the focus in the buildup to the game, but the Raptors seem to have found the perfect replacement.
Pascal Siakam has emerged as a top-player and leading the scoring tables in Toronto. He is averaging 27.9 points per game and 9.3 rebounds. The Raptors will, however, miss the presence of Kyle Lowry, who’s out injured.
The Raptors, who have made their way up to 4th in the NBA power rankings, may well be a top-10 offensive team, but they also boast a top-10 defensive team.
Toronto actually boast a record averaging 103.8 points per game against them when they’re the visiting team, which is 4th in the league.
The Clippers are 10th in the league in points per game and even managed a score of 141 against the Warriors, before they lost Curry. We expect a high-scoring game tonight.
Take Raptors to win & the points total over 218.5 tonight.
Clippers Pick: Clippers to win & Kawhi Leonard to make over 29.5 (3.28)
We went against the bookies today, as the odds heavily stacked against the Raptors. We felt it only fair to give you guys an NBA free pick in-line with the bookies.
Leonard didn’t feature in their last game against the Trail Blazers, yet they still managed to overcome them and win the tie 107-101. It wasn’t the convincing win they’d hoped for after losing to the Bucks midweek.
He will be keen to get out there and prove to everyone the reason he made the move South to LA.
The STAPLES Center has become a fortress. Visiting teams are only managing an average of 103.2 per game. Lou Williams, Patrick Beverly and Montrezl Harrell have contributed well this season, holding firm against a variety of offensive teams.
Beverly will be kept busy by an in-form Fred VanVleet, who managed 23 in the Raptors last game against the Lakers.
Take the Clippers to win and Kawhi Leonard to make over 29.5.
