NBA Free Picks & Predictions: Minnesota Timberwolves @ Milwaukee Bucks
One game away from a cleansweep in preseason, the Milwaukee Bucks have set themselves up perfectly for their opening game against Jame Harden and the Rockets.
The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Pacers in their previous preseason game 119-111. The Bucks have been solid in preseason and will be a real challenge for the Wolves.
Will Minnesota be able to upset the homeside’s unbeaten preseason?

Minnesota Timberwolves (3.29) vs Milwaukee Bucks (1.34)
The Bucks are back at the Fiserv Forum after 2 games on the road. Wins throughout preseason has set the record at 4-0 for the homeside. Outside of Eric Bledsoe rib injury, the preseason has gone swimmingly.
The Timberwolves would cause a huge upset here, if they could scrape a win out of this one. Sitting at a record of 1-2 in preseason, they would love to get themselves a win against a title-contending team before travelling to Brooklyn for their opening game against the Nets.
Take a straight-forward win for the Bucks.

A relatively slow game, under 224 (2.16)
It’s the last game before the start of the season, so neither team is going to be looking to overexert themselves and both coaches will reiterate it before tipoff.
The Bucks have scored 120+ in every game in preseason, which will likely be replicated in this one. Karl-Anthony Towns will step into the lineup and offer the Bucks something different in a youthful exuberant player and may put pressure on the regular starters.
Whereas, the Wolves have only managed to score over 120 in one of their last 3 games. They will be up against it tonight too. So of all the games they’ve had so far, this is likely to be their lowest scoring.
We thought it worth nothing that there have been some great NBA odds for preseason games year. We’ll be covering it all again next year and throughout the season, so stay tuned.
Expect the score to stay under 224.
Race to find the net, Bucks first to 30 points (1.45)
Head Coach Mike Budenholzer will reveal a lot in this game about what he’s thinking going into the new season. There’s a chance that he’ll elect to share minutes around in order to get everyone game ready, but it’s more likely he’ll go with his season starting lineup.
If that’s the case, then this may be nothing more than an exhibition game for the Wolves. Coach Budenholzer has also come out and said that star man D.J. Wilson will get an opportunity to feature, after missing preseason with a hamstring injury.
All of this sets a dangerous precedent for the visitors. We like this wager and it’s our NBA Free Pick of the day - expect the Milwaukee Bucks to come out firing and score 30 first.

Wolves to struggle to find the net, away team to score under 117 (1.90)
The Bucks will be looking for every little thing they can grasp to get an edge over Houston in game one. Something they can take from preseason is the fact the Rockets have gone 2-2 and although it’s only preseason, any psychological gain will help.
Coach Budenholzer will be keen to keep the ball rolling and not let any doubt creep into the side before things really count. He’ll probably want to wrap the game up early and let the players take the game at their own pace.
The Bucks to keep the Timberwolves at bay and score under 117.
