Monday night NBA takes us North to the Scotiabank Arena, for an Eastern Conference matchup between the Charlotte Hornets and the Toronto Raptors.
Charlotte come into this one winning their 6th game of the season against the Knicks in the Garden. It’s a different story for the Raptors, who lost out to the Mavs on Saturday night.
Can the Hornets cause an upset in Toronto?
- 01Charlotte Hornets (4.50) vs Toronto Raptors (1.22)
- 02Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win & total under 216 (2.55)
- 03Parlay Play: Toronto Raptors to win & be the first to 25 points (2.88)
Charlotte Hornets (4.50) vs Toronto Raptors (1.22)
Charlotte have had a crazy few games of late. They have won their previous two games by hitting three-pointers in the final three seconds of the game.
The wins show the mentality of this Hornets team, the ability to maintain composure under so much pressure is something to build on. The Hornets are at 6-7 for the season outright.
It will be a different ball game this evening against the reigning NBA champions. The NBA betting odds are heavily stacked against the visitors.
The Raptors have been playing positively in their opening 12 games, sitting at 8-4 overall. Toronto will be without key players Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka, as they have been for the past few games.
Toronto are 4-0 at the Scotiabank Arena this season, which will give them the confidence they need to overcome Charlotte.
Expect the Raptors to win.

Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win & total under 216 (2.55)
Toronto went up against the Dallas Mavericks in their last, but were undone by an excellent team display from the Mavs. Luca Doncic took them to pieces, as we’ve seen him do in almost every game this season.
The Raptors shot 41.6% from the field, including 17 of 41 three-point attempts. Norman Powell led them in points, as others weren’t on their game, hitting a total of 26.
The Hornets are 16th in the NBA power rankings for the season, but are slowly making their way up recording back-to-back wins in their last two.
The Raptors are 13th in the league in scoring offense with 111.8 points per game this season. Also, they’re not reliant on the likes of last seasons’ hero Lowry for points, Siakam and VanVleet have stepped up this campaign.
The Hornets lead the all-time head-to-head record on 44-36 and won two of last 3 including 113-111 early this year. But we don’t think that’ll count tonight.
Take the Raptors to win & total under 216.

Parlay Play: Toronto Raptors to win & be the first to 25 points (2.88)
The Raptors have been tidy in offense this season. They’ve been clinical and the cohesion between players in offense has been something to admire, especially considering the loss of Leonard and the current injuries.
Toronto is 15th in the league with 46.1 rebounds per contest and stands 12th in assists with 24.3 per game. They’re also 8th in the league in scoring defense, by allowing 106.9 points per game.
The man expected to replace Kawhi Leonard, has done a pretty perfect job so far in 2019. Pascal Siakam leads the team with 26.2 points, plus 8.7 rebounds per contest. He will be called on again tonight in Toronto.
This will count tonight against the Hornets, moreover for this wager. We can see the Raptors holding the Charlotte offense to a low score tonight, which is what made us give this NBA free pick.
Take the Raptors to win & be the first to 25 points.
