Winnipeg a massive favorite to knock off Toronto
The undefeated season is no more for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. They were 4-0 entering last week, but had a rough go against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and lost their first game of the season. Now that the pressure is off, who knows, maybe the defeat will prove to be a blessing in disguise.
On Thursday, they have the perfect opportunity to bounce back, as they will take on the lowly Toronto Argonauts.
According to Sports Interaction (SIA), the Blue Bombers are 1.13 favorites to win this one straight up. They should cruise to a victory and get back to their winning ways.
Tiger-Cats enter as underdogs to face the Roughriders
The Tiger-Cats enter this week's action fresh off their upset win over Winnipeg. However, that doesn't mean they're a lock to win in back-to-back weeks.
As a matter of fact, Hamilton is listed as a 3-point underdog in its game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Hamilton holds 2.25 moneyline ods, while Saskatchewan has 1.67 odds. Will the Tiger-Cats be able to record another upset?
Saskatchewan dominated BC 45-18 last week. With the offense firing on all cylinders, it'll be tough for Hamilton to get the job done. In a close game, we'll go with the Roughriders taking down the Tiger-Cats.
Ottawa enters weekend as big favorites over Montreal
After a BYE last week, the 3-2 Montreal Alouettes are ready to get back in action, as they'll face the Ottawa Redblacks on Friday night.
The Redblacks suffered a heartbreaking loss to the Stampeders in Week 7 and enter Saturday's game a 7-point underdogs against Montreal. The Alouettes have 1.33 moneyline odds and 1.91 odds to cover the 7-point spread.
With the home-field advantage purely in Montreal's favor, we think they'll be able to win this week, but also do so in convincing fashion and cover the spread.
It won't be easy, but Montreal has what it takes to hand Ottawa a fifth consecutive loss.

Eskimos and Stampeders to face off in the Game of the Week
The CFL is saving the best for last, as Edmonton and Calgary will square off in a showdown on Saturday night. Both teams are coming off wins, making this one even more exciting.
The Eskimos destroyed Toronto 26-0, while Calgary escaped with a 17-16 win over the Redblacks.
Calgary is a 1-point underdog, holding 2.00 moneyline odds compared to Edmonton's 1.83. Though it's always tough to go against the favorite, the home-field advantage will prove to be the key for the Stampeders.
The Stampeders and Eskimos both enter this Battle of Alberta Act 1 with a 4-2 record. In this case, we are backing Calgary to earn their fifth win on the year in a hard-fought contest.
