Philadelphia Flyers (2.15) vs Calgary Flames (1.66)
The Flyers have impressed so far this season. Their record sits at 2-0-1 with an overtime loss to the Canucks in their last game. Tonight’s game will be a real test for the visitors, as they come against a young side full of energy and ability.
The Calgary Flames are coming into their seventh game of the season with a record of 2-3-1. After losing out to the Knights and Sharks in their last two games. This feels like a must win game for the Flames, who have had a mixed start to the season.
Carter Hart has been the only guy in the net for the Flyers and he’s been solid. With a 1.62 goals against average, it may be tough for the young guns of the Flames to get past him.
Take the Flyers to win this one, it feels like a comfortable free pick to us.
This one will go to the wire, highest scoring period will be the 3rd (3.20)
In their last 5 trips, the Flyers have only managed one win at the Saddledome. Tonight’s tilt is a homecoming for Calgary-raised Carsen Twarynski, who will still be coming down after tickling the twine for his first NHL goal against the Canucks.
All the marquee men are finding the net for Calgary. But they could use a little help, as 9 players are yet to make their mark.
This Flames team is full of energy and won’t give up easily, we can see this contest going until the final buzzer.
The Flyers have scored 5 of their 10 goals in the third period this season. They’ve also been playing well and will be keen to rack up their 3rd victory.
Expect plenty of goals in this one, and the highest scoring period in the third.
Parlay Play: Flyers to win & Game Total OVER 6.5 (4.61)
These two teams have had some fiery contests in the past, scoring over 6.5 in 3 of their last 4 meetings. The Flyers hit 4 goals a piece in their first 2 games, but only managed 2 against the Canucks in their last.
The Flames haven’t managed to score over 3 in any of their games this season. But, they have leaked a fair few. This is something coach Alain Vigneault will look to capitalise on this evening.
We still hold out hope for the firepower of Flames to start proving their worth on the ice. There are lots of goals in this Calgary team, they’re just yet to unleash upon the league this season.
Expect Flyers to win in a high scoring game.

The Swede to make his mark, Elias Lindholm anytime scorer (3.00)
The Flames right winger had his most productive season on the ice last season. He scored 27 goals and made 51 assists.
Lindholm has made a positive start to the 19/20 campaign. He’s started with 3 goals and an assist, in a team that has struggled to score goals. We fancy the Swede to do it at home tonight, as the NHL betting odds are quite favourable.
Expect a goal at anytime from Elias Lindholm.
