Canada (5.75) vs United States (1.55)
USA must look to rally themselves, reorganise and look to approach this game differently. If they setup the same as the previous match, they’ll likely come away with a loss.
The USA have been lacking consistency in their recent home matches. They managed to thrash Cuba 7-0, but then lost out to Mexico 3-0 in their next fixture.
The Canadians are on a run of consecutive wins, taking the points in the last three. They’ve actually managed to win four of their last five outings, keeping a clean sheet in each win.
It feels like Canada are in with a real chance of coming away with the points in this one. They’ve got depth to their squad now and player selection has become a positive headache for the John Herdman and the coaching staff.
The soccer betting odds favour a homeside win and we tend to agree.
Take the USA to win.
Parlay Pick: USA to win & both teams to score (3.65)
One of the big takeaways from the first match was the midfield battle. The Canadians won it outright in the last game, which was one of the main factors in them taking the points.
The team selection for this one seems to point in a similar direction tactically. But, it does seem as if the US side were caught off guard last time, this time they will be prepared and know how Canada will setup.
The Americans must look to try and shut out Alphonso Davies, who plays for the German giants Bayern Munich, as he will likely cause them all kinds of trouble down the wing again.
Michael Bradley and Christian Roldan will step back into the US team after their MLS Cup now concluded.
Take at least a goal for each side, with the US to win it.

One for the Canadians, Canada to win & both teams to score (8.10)
We wanted to honor Canada after winning in such a comprehensive fashion in the previous tie, so have a soccer free pick against the odds. This pick is an excellent wager.
The Englishman managing Canada, John Herdman, has spoken confidently about his sides’ chance of taking the points in the second tie; speaking of his sides’ ability to manage the game.
We tend to agree, if the battle in the middle of the park is in favour of this rigorous Canada side, it could easily tip in their favour.
Canada are focused on qualifying for the World Cup. They are highly motivated and have quality in-depth, so they’re entirely capable and we’ll see what they’re made of in this second match.
Take Canada to win in a game with both teams scoring.
