Premier League Free Picks And Predictions: October 3-4

As we go into matchday 4 of the English Premier League we look to the standings, where Leicester and Liverpool lead the pack alongside an Everton side that is playing excellent football under Carlo Ancelotti.

The two Manchester clubs are 1 win and 1 draw from their first two games after some surprising results. Ole Gunnar Solskjar’s Man United will face their old manager Jose Mourinho and an in-form Spurs side on Saturday.

We’ll also cover the early kickoff between Chelsea and Crystal Palace, as well as Liverpool’s trip to Birmingham to face Aston Villa on Sunday.

Chelsea (1.40) vs Crystal Palace (8.00)

We kick the weekend off with a London derby, as Crystal Palace make the short trip to Chelsea to face a new-look team under Frank Lampard. They have made a positive start to the season, winning all three of their first games.

Werner managed to bag his first goal for the Blues on Tuesday against Tottenham in the League Cup. Although they lost the game on penalties, there were more positives to take away from the game for the southwest side.

Crystal Palace shocked everyone with a 3-1 away to Manchester United in the first game of the season. They performed well against Everton too, but all the top oddsmakers’ soccer betting odds have them as unlikely to take anything from this one.

Take Chelsea to win.

Manchester United (1.91) vs Tottenham (4.00)

There is a growing frustration amongst the united camp and fanbase regarding the lack of summer transfers. While rival clubs like Chelsea have made 6 signings, United have only brought in Donny Van de Beek.

If United are hopeful of contending for the Champions League, they must reinforce their squad. They face a tough test here against Spurs, who have won 1 and drawn 1 so far this campaign.

Son, Kane, and potentially Bale upfront is a devastating front three. Equally, Martial, Rashford and Greenwood isn’t a bad setup either. It will be a tight game, with both teams set up to counterattack. We can see United edging the win here.

Pick United to win.

Aston Villa (9.50) vs Liverpool (1.33)

Liverpool has picked up where they left off for the last two seasons, picking up 3 wins from three. Jurgen Klopp has recruited well and the team looks as good as ever, it’s going to be another easy title for the Reds we think.

The Premier League betting odds have Liverpool as firm favourites to make it four wins for the campaign. Mane and Salah look insatiable and will be a nightmare for the Villa defence.

For Villa, they have new recruit Ross Barkey to come in and look to add to their attack, as well as keeping hold of Jack Grealish during the summer window. They have players that can cause Liverpool problems, but it’s very unlikely they get anything from this one.

Expect a win for the Champions.
