Best Soccer Free Picks And Predictions

Last night marked a special occasion, as Chelsea took all three points from reigning champions Manchester City at Stamford Bridge we saw Liverpool become Premier League Champions for the first time in 30 years.

A painful night for many fans around the world, but Liverpool won’t care. Jurgen Klopp has done a phenomenal job, exceeding expectations and lifting a club that has struggled for decades to reestablish itself as one of the top European clubs.

A Champions League title and now Champions of England. It’s difficult to say how long the grinning German mastermind will remain at Liverpool - but for now, no scourers will care.

This weekend we look at the English FA Cup, Championship and the Spanish La Liga. With promotion places and Champions League spots up for grabs there’s a lot to play for in England.

While over in Spain, Real Madrid has their noses in front as we go in gameday 32. With 7 matches to go in La Liga, it’s all to play. Who will be crowned Champions in 2020?

Celta Vigo (5.50) vs Barcelona (1.61)

Barcelona was ahead when La Liga restarted a few weeks ago. But a goalless draw away to Sevilla gave Real Madrid the opportunity to take the lead in the title race.

They capitalized on that meaning it’s now Real’s title to lose. It’s been a tough year for all of sport, but given Barca’s squad and performance throughout the season, many expected them to cruise to another title.

They’ll face a Vigo side who are trying to avoid relegation and won’t be easily beaten. The top-rated sportsbook providers have Barca as clear favourites, but it will be a tight game.

The soccer betting odds at PowerPlay have Barcelona at 1.61 to win. But without a goal in their last game, it’s going to be down to the little man to turn up with the goods again. Messi leads the league in goals scored for the 2019/20 campaign.

Big summer signing Antoine Griezmann has been very disappointing and it’s hard to envisage him playing in Blue and Garnet next season. Will he redeem himself in this one?

Take Barcelona to win.

Espanyol (7.50) vs Real Madrid (1.42)

Real Madrid is in control as we enter matchday 32. Having beaten Mallorca midweek, they will face off against Barcelona-based Espanyol on Sunday.

Espanyol was in the fight to stay in La Liga, but a 1-0 loss to Real Betis means they’ll be demoted to La Segunda for the 2020/2021 campaign.

This means they have nothing left to play for other than pride. It’s probably not going to be enough to stop one of the best teams in Europe as they contend for the league title.

The betting odds have Real Madrid as clear favourites and it’s hard to see anything but a win for Los Blancos. Our free pick this week is a dominant victory for the capital’s finest.

Leicester City (2.87) vs Chelsea (2.40)

Chelsea will fancy themselves in this one. Although they’ve had a worse domestic season and sit below the 2018 Premier League champions, they are in fine form and beat Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City on Thursday night.

They stand to make it into the Champions League for next season, but there’s a lot of work to be done yet.

They’ll face Brendan Rodgers Leicester City, who sit third in the league and have had a great season overall. Since they restart they’ve struggled. But with their position all but secured in the league, The FA Cup will be the focus for the blues.

The FA Cup betting odds favour a win for the London-based club, but not by much. The game will be played in Leicester. But with no fans in the stadium, it’s debatable whether the home advantage means that much at present.

Expect Chelsea to win a hard-fought game.

Leeds United (1.73) vs Fulham (5.00)

Leeds and West Brom are battling it out at the top of the table for first place as we go into matchday 39. Even on points, but West Brom edging out the Northern side on goal difference.

With breathing space between the top two and the rest of the pack, Leeds are in a great spot to finally return to the Premier League. However, a 2-0 loss to seventh-placed Cardiff City means they need to turn things around in this one to avoid trouble.

They will face third-placed Fulham on Saturday. Fulham, who were relegated last season, will look to make amends having lost out to fourth-placed Brentford in their first game back after the restart.

With both teams vying for a spot in the Premier League, it will be a fierce contest. However, Leeds is clearly the superior team and on paper, this looks like a one-sided affair.

Pick Leeds to win at home.
