For matchday 19, we have several great games, including the league-leaders RB Leipzig on the road as they travel to Frankfurt, as well as Bayern Munich hosting Schalke 04 on Saturday.
Can Bayern close the gap at the top?
Dortmund (1.28) vs FC Köln (10.00)
Dortmund was on the road to the WWK Arena to play Augsburg in their last fixture. They trailed after 46 minutes, as Augsburg took control of the game.
Julian Brandt nicked one back in the 49th, before the entrance of the young Norweigan, who recently signed from Red Bull Salzburg, Erling Haland. He made a sensational debut, scoring a hattrick three excellent finishes in the 59th, 70th and the 79th minute.
Dortmund sits third in the league and are 7 points adrift of the RB Leipzig. The soccer betting odds heavily favour a win at the Westfalenstadion, and we tend to agree.
Köln has struggled throughout the season, but they have had a good string of games recently. They sit in 13th, just three points clear of the relegation zone.
FC Köln beat Wolfsburg 3-1 in their last fixture. John Córdoba picked up two in the game, bringing his tally to 6 for the season. They took a 3-0 lead in their previous match and will get a goal early on against Dortmund.
Given the league positions of both teams, it’s understandable the difference in the betting odds provided by bookmakers for this fixture.
Expect Dortmund to win here.
FC Bayern Munich (1.18) vs Schalke 04 (14.68)
Bayern enters match week 19, sitting second in the league. Bayern Munich knows what it takes to win the Bundesliga and how to manage a dogfight at the end of the season - let’s not forget, they have won the league 28 times.
They beat Hertha 4-0 on the road to Berlin in their last. Goals for Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski, Thiago Alacantara and Ivan Perisic in the second half, which left Hertha with little chance of making a comeback.
Schalke will travel to Allianz Arena on Saturday, looking to complete a third victory on the trot. Wins over Hamburger SV and third-placed Mönchengladbach will give the team a much-needed boost of confidence going into this fixture.
The game against Hamburger SV was a friendly, but any win is good for the team. You can track all the games through a number of soccer betting sites, regardless of whether it’s a friendly or a league game.
Another notable point is that both victories were completed with clean sheets. Suat Serdar is now the leading goalscorer this season with seven goals, after finding the net against Mönchengladbach.
Take Bayern Munich to get the win.

Eintracht Frankfurt (4.09) vs RB Leipzig (1.77)
RB Leipzig is enjoying its best season since they joined the Bundesliga in 2016. They sit on top of the pile, 4 points ahead of the mighty Bayern Munich.
Julian Nagelsmann has done a fine job with this team. 23-year old Timo Werner is the joint-top scorer in the league, alongside Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski, with 20 goals. Right-winger Marcel Sabitzer has also been quite productive, with seven goals this season.
Frankfurt will travel to the Red Bull Arena on Saturday off the back of a win against Europa League-place contenders Hoffenheim.
Frankfurt led after 18 minutes through Bas Dost. The Dutchman’s goal led the game until early in the second half when Hoffenheim levelled it. Then, in the 62nd minute, Timothy Chandler rose at the back post to head home the winner.
The win will provide confidence to a team that hadn’t won in 7 games. They last won against Arsenal at Le Grove back in November.
Timo Werner is white-hot at the moment, and although this game may not be a close one, we wanted to include it in our soccer free picks as we feel Werner will continue in the same rich vein of form.
Take RB Leipzig to win this one.
