St Louis Blues (1.66) vs Vancouver Canucks (2.23)

The Canucks took an unexpected victory in the 5th game in the series, winning 4-3. Tyler Motte scored a wonderful individual goal and picked up another in the game.

Vancouver is now 3-2 up in the series and will be confident going into game 6. The NHL playoff odds still favour the reigning Stanley Cup holders the Blues.

St Louis has the likes of Ryan O’Reilly, Zach Sanford and Brayden Schenn putting up points for them and they’ll be hungry to put it on the Canucks in the next game. However, it’s their last chance, so the pressure will be high.

Take St Louis to win.

Washington Capitals (1.87) vs New York Islanders (1.95)

Washington had an excellent regular season before the lockdown, but since the playoffs began they haven’t been the same team.

Although they won the last game 3-2 to claw back a game in the series and make it 3-1, they are still a long way off. Starman Ovechkin managed to get 2 goals in their last and he’ll need to continue in that vein of form if they are to win this one.

For the Islanders, they have Mathew Barzal and Jean-Gabriel Pageau putting up goals each game and they’ll look to them again in this one.

The NHL betting odds favour the Capitals to make it a 3-2 series, but we peg the Islanders to take the series 4-1. Whatever happens, it will be a close one.

The Islanders will win.

Dallas Stars (1.77) vs Calgary Flames (2.10)

The Stars lead the series 3-2 going into game 6, having won their last matchup 2-1 with Jamie Benn and John Klingberg picking up the goals for Dallas.

The Calgary Flames had a fairly average regular season, but have shone in the off-season. The Stanley Cup odds had the Stars as one of the top teams to win, but the Flames are putting up a good fight and if they can take it to game 7 the pressure will be on.

The odds favour a win for the Stars and understandably so, but the Flames won’t go down without a fight. Dillon Dube and Rasmus Andersson have been scoring for the Flames and they’ll be key to Geoff Wards team plan.

Expect the Stars to win.
