NHL Weekend Free Picks: November 29 - December 1

We hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving! With December here there are various games to choose from this weekend.

The NHL high-flyers the Bruins, Capitals and Oilers are all in action this weekend, as we look to cover the very best NHL free picks at the end of November.

So without further adieu, let’s get down to the brass tacks.

Philadelphia Flyers (2.88) @ Montreal Canadiens (2.12)

We have a Metropolitan vs Atlantic Division matchup for our first game of the weekend, as the Montreal Canadiens host the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Flyers are 13-7 for the season outright and will be looking for their third straight win north of the border.

Philadelphia are averaging 2.9 goals per game and are above average in the league standings, while the Canadiens sit in ninth and are 3.3 goals per game.

However, the problems come for the Canadiens (11-9) at the other end of the ice. They’re conceding an average of 3.40 goals per game, which will be music to the Flyers ears.

Take the Flyers to win on the road.

Tampa Bay Lightning (2.65) @ Washington Capitals (2.26)

This will be an excellent game. The Capitals have been in fine form throughout the campaign and will relish the challenge of this Eastern Conference Division matchup.

Washington go 17-4-5 for the season outright. They’ve been excellent in offense, putting up 3.5 goals per game on average, while only letting 2.85 through per game.

Tampa Bay are on 12-8-2 for the 2019/20 campaign. In offense, they actually better the Capitals and sit at second in the NHL scoring tables for average goals per game (3.7).

They’re led in goals by Kucherov (9 goals, 15 assists), who is closely followed by Point (8 goals, 9 assists) and Palat (8 goals, 7 assists). Steven Stamkos has had a quiet season, while contributing to with a points total of 20.

Arizona Coyotes (3.41) @ Vegas Golden Knights (1.93)

We have a pair of Western Conference rivals will faceoff at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, as the Golden Knights host Arizona.

The Golden Knights are 12-11-4 for the season so far. They have relied on their star goaltender, Marc Andre-Fluery, but he is on leave for personal reasons which will be a big loss to the Knights.

Arizona has enjoyed an impressive 8-3-2 road score this season and are playing excellent hockey, taking four of their last five games.

The Coyotes are very physical and have an excellent defense. They’re 29th in the league in goals against, allowing a total of 60 for the season so far.

The NHL betting odds favour a win for the Knights in this one, though we are going to go against the bookies and back Arizona to take the win.

Expect a win for the Coyotes on the road.

Vancouver Canucks (2.89) @ Edmonton Oilers (2.15)

We have a Pacific Division matchup for our Sunday night NHL game, when the Edmonton Oilers will host the Canucks at Rogers Place. The Oilers have been playing well throughout the season and sit at 5th in the NHL power rankings.

The Oilers (16-8-3) are the league leaders in the Western Conference and boast some of the leagues’ top scorers in McDavid and Draisaitl. Though they lost 4-1 to the Avalanche in their last game.

The Canucks (12-10-4) have had a rough week and will enter this game on for their third consecutive loss, having missed out against the Flyers and the Penguins in a high-scoring affair that ended 8-6.

Vancouver have been useful in offense this season and are joint for goals scored with Tampa Bay on 82 goals. The Canucks are led by J.T Miller and Elias Pettersson on 12 and 11 goals respectively.

Take the Oilers to win this one at home.
