Our three best NHL anytime goal scorer parlay picks for today (4/2/26) prices out at +2237 for hockey bettors looking to take a chance on a lottery ticket at the best NHL betting sites. The picks also appear to hold standalone value as straight bets, something worth noting given that we have had lots of success hitting two of our three legs on these bets this season.
Anytime goal-scorer bets are among the most exciting bets available in any sport. The rush of hitting a long shot goal scorer is hard to match, but even the NHL’s top scorers are less than 50% likely to score on average, and it is a volatile market subject to randomness, so as always, we do recommend staying within your means. Regardless of the score, any uncashed goal-scorer bet is still live to win, while hitting this type of wager early in any matchup is also extremely satisfying.
Nick’s AGS parlay
Kirill Marchenko +210
The Columbus Blue Jackets will play the second leg of a tough home-and-home versus the Carolina Hurricanes Thursday and will be desperate to get right and snap a four-game losing skid. In the first leg of this home-and-home, Marchenko was the Blue Jackets’ best forward by a wide margin and the top line did fare well, while the rest of the lineup was heavily outplayed.
In Tuesday’s matchup, the Blue Jackets’ top line of Marchenko, Adam Fantilli, and Mason Marchment combined for five points and held a 70.7% expected goal share across 11:46 of time on ice. Marchenko recorded a goal and an assist and generated five shots on goal from seven attempts.
During the Blue Jackets’ four-game skid, Marchenko generated 2.01 individual expected goals, 12 shots on target, 21 attempts on target, and averaged 20:01 of time on ice. He is a better than average shooter, and those marks are appealing with that in mind relative to his price to score.
The Hurricanes have allowed 3.27 goals against per game over the last 15 matchups. They do an excellent job of controlling the overall run of play but do allow high-quality chances in transition and continue to receive below average play in goal.
Marchenko was fantastic in Tuesday’s game, and head coach Rick Bowness will surely look to lean heavily on his quality top line once again in this matchup. At +210, Marchenko looks to be a strong option to kick off our parlay.
William Nylander +160
Nylander enters Thursday’s matchup versus the San Jose Sharks off an entirely dominant performance versus the Anaheim Ducks, as he registered a goal and two assists and was named the second star of the game. He poured eight shots on goal from 11 attempts, and as expected, fared well versus a Ducks side that does not defend well in transition and offers a lot of space in the offensive zone.
The Sharks offer many of the same deficiencies as the Ducks and, despite remaining in the thick of the playoff race, are far from good defensively and don’t offer a unit that offers an overly imposing matchup to try and shutdown Nylander.
The Sharks have allowed 3.87 goals against per game over the last 15 matchups, and while they may be able to score their way out of trouble in Thursday’s matchup, Toronto’s top stars should be capable of offering similar performances as we saw in Anaheim on Monday.
Nylander has generated 35 shot attempts over the last six games, 3.46 individual expected goals, and three goals where it counts. He is the top remaining forward on the Leafs roster, and is always a safe bet to receive heavy minutes right now. Considering his recent chance-creating and proven finishing ability, a price of +160 looks to be a great number to back him tallying his 27th of the season Thursday.
Filip Forsberg +190
Forsberg has been playing at an exceptional level in the second half of the season, and has further elevated his level of play of late in attempting to drag the Nashville Predators into the postseason. Over the last 28 games, Forsberg has scored 18 goals and 35 points, and over the last eight games he’s recorded six goals and 14 points.
While Forsberg’s recent counting stats are impressive, the eye-test has been even more moving, and it seems that perhaps playing on a team that doesn’t garner much attention from mainstream NHL media is preventing him from getting the credit he deserves.
Forsberg’s elite offensive skillset has made him an exciting watch on a nightly basis of late, but his chance creation numbers are still equally convincing towards this bet. He’s generated 0.45 individual expected goals per game over the last eight matchups and averaged 7.16 shot attempts per game.
Thursday’s matchup versus the Los Angeles Kings will likely be fairly low-event and feature a playoff feel, but we can live with that with Forsberg’s price to score up to +190, when it has often been in that +160 range of late.
