Methodology
CanadaSportsBetting.ca scraped over 4,000 Airbnb and Booking.com listings in Montreal to analyse accommodation price fluctuations across three comparable weekend periods: the week before the race (May 15–18), race weekend (May 22–25), and the week after (May 29–June 1). Average nightly rates were calculated across all available listings for each period. Ticket prices were taken directly from the official Formula 1 website. Total cost figures combine the average race-weekend accommodation cost with two general admission tickets. All prices are listed in CAD and reflect data collected in May 2026.
