Has a Canadian team won MLS?
Toronto FC won the MLS Cup in 2017 when they beat the Seattle Sounders 2-0. Toronto also won the Supporters’ Shield (best regular season record) and the Canadian Championship that season, completing the first domestic treble sweep in MLS history.
What Were the 10 Original MLS Teams?
Major League Soccer (MLS) began its inaugural season in 1996 with 10 founding teams:
