CeeDee Lamb over 78.5 receiving yards is our Cowboys vs. Eagles best betting prediction, with receiving-yard forecasts of 84 and 87.7 both above the line. Philadelphia hosts Dallas on Oct. 26 at 8:15 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in this 2026 NFL regular-season matchup. Those forecast margins give us a reason to prefer the over, not a guarantee that Lamb gets there.

Neither team arrives in convincing form: Dallas is 2–3 over its last five games, while Philadelphia is 1–4. A receiving-yard wager lets us focus on Lamb’s involvement rather than picking a winner, but Dallas’s uneven offensive execution remains a real obstacle.

As always, compare prices at Canadian NFL betting sites before locking in a wager.

Cowboys vs. Eagles Prediction

  • CeeDee Lamb over 78.5 receiving yards (-115): This full-game wager wins with 79 or more receiving yards and loses with 78 or fewer. Lamb has 48 receptions on 69 targets for 577 yards through six 2026 regular-season games, giving the forecast-based lean a foundation in both involvement and production. Six games are still a short run, and targets alone won’t cash a yardage ticket. His 70-yard performance at Green Bay is the clearest warning against treating volume as enough. Our recommendation applies to 78.5 at -115; a higher threshold or less favourable price would require a fresh assessment.

About the Cowboys (2-4 SU, 3-3 ATS, 4-2 o/u)

Dallas lost 23–13 at Green Bay on Oct. 18, with Dak Prescott throwing for 258 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions on 54 attempts. That many throws produced only 13 points, a reminder that a busy passing night need not be an efficient one.

Through six starts in the 2026 regular season, Prescott has 1,639 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions on 246 attempts. Dallas’s team passing totals through six games stand at 1,603 yards and 10 touchdowns. The passing production gives Lamb a workable platform.

About the Eagles (2-4 SU, 1-5 ATS, 3-3 o/u)

Philadelphia fell 25–14 at home to Carolina on Oct. 18. Through six 2026 regular-season games, the Eagles have 1,040 team passing yards and nine passing touchdowns. Their offence ranked last in yards per play through the first six weeks at 4.4, while averaging 82.2 rushing yards per game.

Offensive coordinator Sean Mannion called the offence “totally fixable,” identifying “communication, fundamentals, and then the actual act of getting it done with your execution” as the areas needing improvement.

The offensive line has changed, too. Lane Johnson retired on Oct. 6, with rookie Markel Bell playing at right tackle in his place. Willie Lampkin has taken over at left guard after Cam Jurgens was traded to Baltimore. Philadelphia has adjustments to make, though those changes alone aren’t a reason to expect Dallas to dominate up front.

“Your play-action pass game gets better and better as you run the football better,” Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said. “For your play-action game to create the plays that you want it to create, your run game’s got to be going. You’ve got to be converting on third downs. You’ve got to be in manageable situations.” Sustaining that connection would give Philadelphia a route to improving its offensive output.

Betting Mismatch

Philadelphia’s secondary communication problems offer Dallas’s receivers an opening. Carolina tight end Tommy Tremble scored a 19-yard touchdown on Oct. 18 after being left open down the middle, a play Cooper DeJean described as a “miscommunication.” A similar breakdown could create useful yardage for Dallas, but it doesn’t tell us who will cover Lamb or which receiver would benefit.

Lamb’s Green Bay performance supplies the counterpoint: nine catches on 18 targets yielded 70 yards. Even substantial involvement left him below Monday’s threshold. The over needs more productive completions, not simply another heavy target count.

Dallas also has defensive problems Philadelphia could exploit. Through the first six weeks, the Cowboys allowed 232.7 passing yards per game, ranking 23rd, and 7.7 yards per attempt, ranking 29th. That makes it risky to assume the Eagles’ offensive struggles will leave Dallas in control. We prefer Lamb’s yardage over to making a strong call on how this game unfolds.

Key Injuries

Jalen Hurts is listed as out for Philadelphia, with Tanner McKee projected to start. Dallas Goedert was cleared for Monday after practicing fully Saturday following a missed Friday session with a knee injury. “I just had a little bit of inflammation in there, had to let that settle down, but felt really good running out there today,” Goedert said after Saturday’s practice. His clearance does not settle how much work he will handle.

Saquon Barkley remains questionable with a hamstring injury after missing the previous two games. He practiced fully Saturday, but his availability and potential workload remain separate questions. Jonathan Greenard is also questionable with an ankle injury after missing Saturday’s practice; he said his ankle would require a game-time decision.

Philadelphia’s Oct. 24 out group included Michael Carter (abdomen), DeVonta Smith (hamstring), Nolan Smith (concussion) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle). All four missed practice.

Alongside Barkley and Greenard, the Eagles listed Jakorian Bennett (knee), Grant Calcaterra (back), Landon Dickerson (knee and pectoral), Jalyx Hunt (knee and ankle) and Eli Stowers (quad) as questionable. Bennett, Calcaterra, Dickerson and Stowers practiced fully Saturday, while Hunt was limited.

Dallas ruled Drew Shelton (hamstring), KaVontae Turpin (ribs) and Dee Winters (calf) out on Oct. 24 after they missed practice. Marist Liufau (forearm) and P.J. Locke (foot) were subsequently ruled out on Oct. 25 after their return-to-practice windows opened. DeMarvion Overshown and Cobie Durant practiced fully and entered the matchup medically cleared with no game designation, although their workloads are not established.

Weather

The forecast calls for mostly clear skies and temperatures near 16 C at kickoff, falling into roughly the 10–15 C range during the game. Those conditions don’t give us a decisive reason to change the receiving-yard lean.

  • Playing the under on Javonte Williams’ rushing yards prop has been a profitable betting angle this season, as the Cowboys running back has cleared his line this week of 64.5 yards just once in six games, averaging 52.8 per contest. He’s -120 to go under that number on Monday night. However, Williams has scored a touchdown in four straight games and is -160 to extend that streak.
  • Prescott has thrown for under 1.5 passing touchdowns in four straight games. He’s +105 to go under that number on Monday.
  • Prescott has attempted 37 or more passes in four straight games and is -125 to to exceed that number.
