Rams Lead Super Bowl Betting

The Rams account for 12.09% of all Super Bowl winner bets, putting them narrowly ahead of the Buffalo Bills at 10.83%. The Seahawks, who enter the season as defending champions, are third with 9.27% of bets.

Kansas City and Denver round out the top five most-backed teams in the market.

Los Angeles also dominates the NFC market, accounting for 23.26% of bets to win the conference. Seattle is second at 19.77%, while the New York Giants are the surprise team in third with 10.47%.

Betway PR Manager Lewis Knowles told Canada Sports Betting via email that the Rams remain firmly at the top of the Super Bowl market entering the new season.

“The Rams remain solid at the head of our Super Bowl market going into the new season, and Sean McVay’s team are the best backed among bettors,” Knowles said.

He also pointed to the strong support for Seattle and Buffalo, with the Bills perhaps the biggest surprise among the leading Super Bowl selections.

TeamShare of bets to win the Super Bowl
LA Rams12.09%
Buffalo Bills10.83%
Seattle Seahawks9.27%
Kansas City Chiefs6.55%

Burrow Dominates MVP Market

The most striking figure comes in the NFL MVP market, where Burrow has attracted 18.57% of bets.

That is more than double the share of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who sits second at 8.48%. Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is third at 7.43%, followed by Kyler Murray at 4.77% and Dak Prescott at 3.98%.

Burrow’s popularity is notable given his injury concerns heading into the campaign. The Bengals quarterback missed significant time last season, making his health one of the biggest variables surrounding his MVP prospects.

Still, his previous production has clearly convinced bettors that he could be a strong value candidate if he remains healthy.

“Many fans will be surprised to see Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow leading the way with an astonishing 19 percent of bets in our MVP betting,” Knowles said. “We’ve seen more than double the number of bets for Burrow as we have for the MVP favourite Josh Allen.”

Ravens Lead AFC Betting

The AFC winner market is considerably tighter than the NFC. The Baltimore Ravens lead with 21.37% of bets, followed closely by the Bengals at 19.66%.

The Bills are third with 16.24%, while the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos are tied for fourth at 8.55%.

The numbers suggest bettors see a competitive race in the AFC, with three teams accounting for more than half of the market share between them.

Overall, Betway’s early futures data points to strong confidence in the Rams and Burrow, while the support for Buffalo, Seattle and the Giants provides some unexpected twists as the 2026 NFL season gets underway.
