Scheffler enters this week’s BMW Championship as the clear betting favourite, and his recent form makes it easy to see why. The world No. 1 arrives at Bellerive Country Club fresh off a dominant eight-shot victory at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, where he finished 17-under and tied the course record with a 61 during the second round.

That victory ended a 203-day winless stretch for Scheffler, but his results during that period were hardly concerning. He recorded 10 top-four finishes across 16 starts, demonstrating the consistency that has made him one of the most reliable players on the PGA Tour.
