How the analysis was built
Canada Sports Betting analyzed Toronto-area accommodation search results from Airbnb and Booking.com across three one-night weekend windows surrounding BTS’s Aug. 22–23, 2026 Toronto shows.
- The comparison covers Aug. 15–16, Aug. 22–23 and Aug. 29–30.
- Only listings with a usable price were included in price calculations.
- Prices were normalized into USD in the supplied dataset.
- Platform-specific averages were calculated separately; the overall figure pools all valid priced results.
- The analysis describes prices visible in the captured search results and does not claim every property changed its price specifically because of BTS.
