Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia

Best Odds on Lopes to Win: -150 (Sports Interaction)
Best Odds Garcia to Win: +130 (BetVictor)

Kicking off the evening with a battle between two top-ranked featherweights, former title challenger Diego Lopes will look to get back into the win column as he takes on Steve “Mean Machine” Garcia. While Garcia enters this scrap red hot on the back of a seven-fight win streak, look for him to get iced out by Lopes as he wins by knockout.

There’s no doubt that Garcia has proven himself to be a legitimate threat at 145 lbs, having stopped six of his opponents by knockout over his seven-fight win streak, but he’s yet to face anyone of the same calibre as Lopes. In his UFC tenure, Lopes has only lost to the two best featherweights on the planet in Movsar Evloev (on short notice) and current division Champion Alexander Volkanovski.

Even in these losses, Lopes had his moments and remained competitive throughout. Outside of these losses, Lopes has racked up victories with ease, scoring four finishes, including a disgusting spinning back elbow to finish the dangerous Jean Silva in 2025.

With Garcia having had his chin cracked before in the UFC after suffering a KO loss to Maheshate back in 2022, as well as relying on his knockout power to have his hand raised against a fighter in Lopes that’s never been finished in the UFC, all indications point in favour of Lopes.

Expect to see Lopes completely outclass Garcia in virtually every aspect of the bout, laying on big shots before finally landing the finishing blow within the first two rounds to score the knockout victory at UFC Freedom 250.

Bo Nickal vs. Kyle Daukaus

Best Odds on Nickal to Win: -320 (ToonieBet)
Best Odds Daukaus to Win: +275 (Sports Interaction)

Hot off the heels of a statement-making victory over Rodolfo Vieira, Bo Nickal will look to make it back-to-back victories as he takes on a surging threat in Kyle Daukaus. In a battle between American fighters at the White House, expect to see Nickal live up to the hype as his rapid evolution continues in MMA, securing yet another impressive knockout victory.

While Daukaus has looked strong since making his return to the UFC with two first-round finishes over veterans Michel Pereira and Gerald Meerschaert, neither of these wins measures up to the skill level of Nickal. Set to face off against a four-time NCAA All-American wrestler and three-time Division I National Champion, Daukaus is going to struggle to find advantages in the bout.

With Daukaus’ main weapons coming from his grappling skillset, highlighted by his patented D’arce Choke, these threats will be completely neutralized by the elite grappling of Nickal. This then sets the stage for a battle on the feet, an area where Nickal has shown rapid development, having secured two of his five UFC victories by knockout. Conversely, Daukaus has had his chin cracked twice in his UFC career, a flaw that saw him cut back in 2022 before working his way back to the company in 2025.

Set to put on a show on a massive stage, bank on Nickal to let his hands go, utilizing his superb power and athleticism, scoring the knockout victory over Daukaus.

Mauricio Ruffy vs. Michael Chandler

Best Odds on Ruffy to Win: -700 (ToonieBet)
Best Odds Chandler to Win: +525 (BetVictor)

In a clash of two dangerous lightweights, the new guard will look to take down the old dog as Mauricio Ruffy faces off against “Iron” Michael Chandler.

Over his career, Chandler has been a part of several all-out wars inside the Octagon, but at 40 years old, the former Bellator legend may be at the end of the road for his MMA journey. Having lost five of his last six bouts, with two of these coming by knockout, you can expect to see him suffer yet another devastating KO defeat at the hands of the lethal Brazilian, Ruffy.

One of the most electrifying strikers in the UFC, Ruffy has exploded onto the scene, having already racked up several highlight reel finishes, including his most recent knockout win over a game Rafael Fiziev. Sporting a three-inch edge in height and reach, Ruffy will be able to dictate the pace, space and output of the bout, piling on damaging shots as he looks to put the aging legend Chandler to sleep early.

With three of his four UFC wins coming by knockout, and the recent drop in Chandler’s durability, this is a complete mismatch that has Ruffy rightfully slated as the heavy favourite to win. While not the most profitable prop bet, Ruffy to win by knockout is a safe pick that’s sure to help build your bankroll in thrilling fashion.

Josh Hokit vs. Derrick Lewis

Best Odds on Hokit to Win: -425 (BET99)
Best Odds Lewis to Win: +340 (Sports Interaction)

The big boys are set to collide at UFC Freedom 250 as two of the biggest personalities in the sport today go toe-to-toe as Josh Hokit takes on Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis. While Lewis may be the all-time UFC knockout king, look for him to be on the receiving end of a KO loss as Hokit improves his undefeated record to 10-0.

Many (including myself) thought the UFC was throwing Hokit to the wolves, matching him up with perennial contender Curtis Blaydes back at UFC 327, but Hokit silenced the critics, putting on a banger of a fight, and coming away with the biggest win of his career. While he wasn’t able to get the finish in the matchup, he certainly proved his toughness and ability to land big shots inside the cage.

A former Division I All-American wrestler, Hokit has taken to MMA like a moth to a flame, using his top-tier athleticism and speed to outpace his opponents, all while giving up size and experience in the process.

Taking on the always dangerous Lewis, who’s still more than able to end a fight with a single flush shot, he has begun to slow down at 41 years old, and his durability has certainly come into question as of late. Having dropped five of his last eight bouts, with three of them coming by way of knockout, Lewis’ best days appear to be behind him, while Hokit is just entering into his prime.

Look for Hokit to push the pace against Lewis, outlanding him thanks to his superior speed, piling up damage, while still tucking his tremendous grappling skills in his back pocket in case of emergency. At plus money, this is a great bet to boost your bankroll at UFC Freedom 250.

Sean O’Malley vs. Aiemann Zahabi

Best Odds on O’Malley to Win: -425 (BET99)
Best Odds Zahabi to Win: +350 (Sports Interaction)

Hoping to earn himself another shot at the UFC bantamweight title with a victory at the White House, former division Champion “Suga” Sean O’Malley will have a tough test ahead of him as he takes on Canada’s Aiemann Zahabi.

There’s no question that Zahabi is one of the top talents to emerge from the Great White North in years, having won seven-straight fights entering this bout, but he still isn’t at the elite level of O’Malley. Having gone head-to-head with the best 135-lbers in the world and thrived, O’Malley has only been troubled by one fighter, former-Champion Merab Dvalishvili.

While Zahabi’s grappling is solid, it won’t be enough to control O’Malley as Dvalishvili expertly did in their two matchups. Instead, look for O’Malley to constantly pressure Zahabi, keeping him on the back foot, and letting brutal straights and roundhouse kicks fly at him as he utilizes his three inch reach advantage throughout the fight.

Having piled up highlight reel knockouts to establish himself as a star in the making early on in his career, O’Malley has taken a much more calculated approach to his recent bouts, picking his shots wisely and keeping himself out of danger in the process.

With Zahabi’s most recent wins coming by split decision against an over-the-hill Chito Vera (whom O’Malley dominated in their rematch from 2024), as well as a scary decision win over Jose Aldo who had Zahabi hurt badly late in the fight, he simply isn’t in the same league as O’Malley.

Rightfully slated as a heavy betting favourite, bank on O’Malley to get the job done, cruising to a unanimous decision victory as he continue his ascent back into title contention at UFC Freedom 250.

Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane

Best Odds on Pereira to Win: -105 (BET99)
Best Odds Gane to Win: -105 (bet365)

In the co-main event of UFC Freedom 250, the UFC Heavyweight Championship will be on the line as former two-division UFC Champion Alex “Poatan” Pereira looks to make history as the first ever fighter to win gold in three weight classes, as he takes on former interim heavyweight champ, Ciryl “Bon Gamin” Gane.

Approaching GOAT status in the MMA world, nobody has ever made such a quick splash in combat sports as Pereira. Having won the middleweight title in just his fourth UFC bout, he then become a dominant title holder at 205 lbs. Now, with history in his grasp, look for Gane to play spoiler as he secures the victory by decision in the co-main event.

There’s no questioning the striking ability of Pereira, but this is a drastic elevation in competition. A known “weight bully”, Pereira has largely had a distinct size advantage over his opponents in the UFC. With his knockout power shining in lower weight classes, this may not translate the same against a legitimate heavyweight contender in Gane.

Having shared the cage with dangerous opponents such as Jon Jones, Francis Ngannou, and Tom Aspinall, while he wasn’t able to secure the win in any of these bouts, Gane was never in danger of being knocked out. Instead, Gane outclassed these top talents on the feet, with the Jones and Ngannou bouts not going in his favour due to his non-existent grappling skills.

With Pereira and Gane both without any true grappling skills, this fight will stay standing, with Gane sporting a two-inch reach advantage. Additionally, we’ve seen Pereira get flatlined in the UFC, having been knocked out cold by Israel Adesanya in their rematch before moving up to light heavyweight. It’s safe to say the Gane will pack more of a punch than Izzy, forcing Pereira to backpedal, rather than be his usual aggressive self.

Conversely, Gane has never been knocked out in 15 pro fights, largely thanks to his world-class kickboxing style. Watch as Gane uses his size to overpower Pereira, picking him apart with distance blows as he racks up points, and pulls ahead on the judges’ scorecards in an upset victory as he begins his second reign with the gold at heavyweight.

Ilia Topuria vs. Justin Gaethje

Best Odds on Topuria to Win: -550 (ToonieBet)
Best Odds Gaethje to Win: +450 (bet365)

Set to bring the fireworks inside the Octagon at UFC Freedom 250, we’ve got a blockbuster on our hands in the main event as Ilia “El Matador” Topuria puts his lightweight gold on the line against Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje. In a clash between two of the most dangerous fighters on the UFC roster, expect to see Topuria collect yet another name in his legend-killer arc, finishing Gaethje by devastating knockout inside the first two rounds of their main event showdown.

In his rapid ascent to the top, Topuria has never so much as blinked. Sporting an undefeated 17-0 record as a pro, Topuria has steamrolled his opponents, racking up seven finishes over his nine UFC bouts, including knockout wins over Alexander Volkanovski, Max Holloway, and Charles Oliveira.

Having hardly broken a sweat in his dominant UFC tenure, Gaethje simply doesn’t offer anything that Topuria hasn’t seen and conquered to this point in his career. In fact, through simple “MMA math” you can pinpoint through common opponents that this matchup is outside of Gaethje’s favour, having been finished by both Holloway and Oliveira in shocking fashion, two fighters Topuria destroyed when he met them inside the octagon.

With Gaethje’s suspect striking discipline set to be exposed on the biggest stage, look for the elite boxing of Topuria to shine yet again as he brutalizes Gaethje from start to finish, knocking him out to cap off UFC Freedom 250 with a bang.
