In what’s sure to be a fight of the night contender, back the Czech Samurai, Prochazka, to take the win by knockout against Rountree Jr.
While Rountree Jr. did fare better against Alex Pereira in his lone meeting with him than Prochazka did in both of his title bouts, head-to-head Prochazka is simply the more dynamic and aggressive striker. As evident in his matchup with Umar Nurmagomedov back in 2024, Sandhagen struggles to fend off elite wrestlers. Taking on one of the best wrestlers the UFC has ever seen, this matchup is likely to be a mirror image to that of Dvalishvili’s previous bouts against Sean O’Malley. Look for Dvalishvili to find his way inside the reach of Sandhagen, preventing himself from being caught on the receiving end of any fight-ending blows, bringing the fight to the mat with ease, and controlling the fight from bell-to-bell as he earns his third title defence.

Having suffered defeat just once in his 15-fight UFC career, it is undeniable that Ankalaev knows how to win. A smart and well-rounded fighter, Ank possesses tremendous fight IQ, which allows him to control virtually every aspect of a fight. Although it only takes one big shot to land for Pereira to flip a fight on its head, don’t expect to see such opportunities arise as Ankalaev controls the tempo, mitigates risk, and takes a methodical, calculated approach to defending his UFC gold.
