Fireworks expected for Winnipeg vs Hamilton
Indeed, two of the best three teams in the CFL will face off when Hamilton and Winnipeg do battle. With the game being played in Winnipeg, the Blue Bombers will hold the slight advantage.
Keep in mind, though, Hamilton enters this game 10-3, while the Blue Bombers are 9-4. Winnipeg is also coming off a stunning 38-37 loss to the Montreal Alouettes.
Though they are underdogs, we think Hamilton will keep the bad news going for Winnipeg. We’ll pick the Tiger-Cats.
Edmonton hoping to cruise to road win at Ottawa
When the Eskimos and Redblacks face off on Saturday, one team will see their embarrassing losing streak come to a much-needed end.
For Edmonton (6-7), they’ve lost four games in a row. Unfortunately for Ottawa (3-10), the team has lost six consecutive games. Yikes.
Despite both squads being terrible of late, someone is going to have to come out on top of this one. Though Ottawa will be the home team for this contest, we don’t think that will matter.
Ottawa’s defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone. That won’t change this weekend. Take the Eskimos.
Toronto holds no chance against Saskatchewan
The season has been a living nightmare for the Toronto Argonauts, who are now 2-10 on the year.
Unfortunately for them, things won’t get any easier, as they have the tough task of hosting the 8-4 Saskatchewan Roughriders this weekend. Think Toronto can slow this team down? Not likely.
Saskatchewan had a BYE last week, so they’ll be refreshed entering this new showdown with Toronto. Look for them to cover the spread in a victory.
BC and Montreal should be a tight one
After starting off the season 1-10, the BC Lions have now won back-to-back contests.
Last week, the Lions absolutely crushed Ottawa, winning the game 40-7. What will they be able to do this weekend when they host the Montreal Alouettes?
Montreal is 7-5 on the year, meaning they know what it takes to get the job done. This one should be a close one. Who will win?
While we’re not sure who will come out on top, we’ll pick Montreal to cover the spread.
