Lions looking to make the hometown fans happy
As we've stated multiple times here on Canada Sports Betting, 2019 has been nothing but a disaster for the BC Lions. They're dead last in the CFL with their 1-10 record and have lost seven consecutive games.
However, they enter this week as 5.5-point favorites at home against the Ottawa Redblacks. Does this mean they can finally put the pieces together and get back to their winning ways?
Ottawa itself has struggled this year, posting a 3-8 mark. While some might think they'll cruise against BC, that won't be the case. We smell an upset brewing for the home team, so we're picking the Lions.
"The record doesn't reflect that mentality, but we're out here working hard every day. We just have to get better every week."

Can Calgary take down the red hot Tiger-Cats?
The most intriguing matchup of the weekend no doubt has to be the battle between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Calgary Stampeders.
Hamilton has won four straight and sits at the top of the East Division standings, while Calgary has won back-to-back games and is 7-4 on the year.
However, the Stampeders are a head-turning 6.5-point favorites going into this one.
If you're unsure who to take for the moneyline, perhaps going the route of the spread will be your best bet. In this case, we think it'll be a down-to-the-wire showdown, with Hamilton covering 6.5 points.

Saskatchewan should cruise to victory over Montreal
The final game of the week will feature a showdown between the Roughriders and Alouettes. As expected, Saskatchewan is the favorite.
The line has been set at 6.5 points for the Roughriders, a team that is 7-4 on the year. For Montreal, they enter Saturday holding a 6-4 mark.
While we will give Montreal the benefit of the doubt and predict they'll keep things close, we'll take Saskatchewan to win this one straight up for their eighth victory of the year.

Winnipeg remains the favorite to win the Grey Cup
Even with Matt Nichols suffering a serious injury in the middle of the season, Winnipeg hasn't missed a beat and remains the team to take down in the CFL.
The Blue Bombers are 9-3 after destroying Saskatchewan last week. But, what are their odds to win the Grey Cup at this point in the season?
Winnipeg holds the best odds at 3.75, while Calgary is at 4.00 and Hamilton is at 4.50. The Blue Bombers will get Nichols back as they prepare for a deep postseason run.
Think they'll win it all? If so, those 3.75 odds aren't looking too bad.
