On June 10, 2016, Gordie Howe, one of the greatest hockey players of all time, passed away. He was 88. The man known as “Mr. Hockey” was a symbol and hero to many including other greats like Wayne Gretzky. At the time of his retirement from the NHL, he set all kinds of records for the league.
