- 2Parlay Pick: Edmonton Oilers to win & total over 6.5 (4.70)

Edmonton Oilers (2.20) vs Los Angeles Kings (2.80)
The Oilers have won three of their last five games, putting away 24 goals in that time. They’re allowing just 2.7 goals per game and scoring 3.26 goals per game.
Edmonton’s strikeforce is absolutely lethal at the moment, they’re forwards Draisaitl and McDavid place 1 and 2 in the NHL scoring tables.
Then behind those two, they have Neal, Nugent-Hopkins, the recently improved Zack Kassian and Jujhar is even finding form at the moment. It will be a tough night for the Kings up against the Oilers offense.
Fortunately for the Kings, they’ve been on a decent run-of-form lately winning three of their previous five games. But they were shutout in their last against the Coyotes, losing it 3-0, which won’t bode well for tonight.
The NHL betting odds are pretty tight in this game, though one must consider the fact the bookies will hike up the odds for the homeside.
Take the Oilers to beat the Kings.
Parlay Pick: Edmonton Oilers to win & total over 6.5 (4.70)
We always seem to be discussing the same players, Leon Draisaitl even featured in one of our NHL free picks of the week, in the big German and Connor McDavid.
Though we must, as they continue to tally up more points, goals and assists every week.
Leon still leads the Oilers with 44 points, with a league-high 16 goals and leads Edmonton with a staggering 28 assists.
For the Kings it’s been all about the Slovenian Anze Kopitar. He leads the Kings with 22 points on a club-high seven goals and 15 assists. Everything goes through Kopitar at the moment and he will have a big role to play if the Kings are to win.
Los Angeles has been okay in offense this season, posting 2.52 goals scored per game. They must improve that tonight, as the Oilers will without a doubt light the lamp on a few occasions this evening.
Take Oilers to win & goals over 6.5 total.
Parlay Pick: Oilers to win the first period & both teams to score in the first (5.55)
Though we feel the Oilers are superior in almost every aspect of the game, they aren’t without their faults. They have conceded two games in the past couple of weeks, in games they feel they should have won.
Losses to the Sharks and Stars, will give the Kings a glimmer of hope.
The Kings, who are 8-12-1 outright, have played well of late, recording three back-to-back wins against the Wild, Red Wings and Golden Knights.
They’ll need to ensure they come into this one with a winning mentality, plus they’re in front of the home crowd.
We feel this one will be fiery from the get-go, with both teams scoring and the Oilers, who are 14-6-3 outright, showing their offensive dominance and taking the first.
Despite that, there is a reason why the Oilers are 6th in the NHL power rankings and we feel that will show in this one.
Expect the Oilers to win the first & both teams to score.
