The Premier League odds for a top-four finish are available across all top-tier sportsbooks. We’ve assessed the odds and will offer some picks and predictions for the three teams in a shot as we enter the final three games.
Leicester to finish in the top 4 (1.80)
Brendan Rogers would be devastated if his team didn’t manage to clinch the top 4 spots this season.
Leicester has quietly been one of the top-performing teams in the league. There has been a lot of talk about Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, with Man City clearly heading towards the title.
Players like Kelechi Iheanacho have looked like totally different players this season. He struggled since joining from City, but now he’s leading and looks like the player to phase out club legend Jamie Vardy.
With fixtures against Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham, it’s going to be a very difficult run-in for Leicester. It would be especially cruel considering they missed out on the final day of the season last year.
Liverpool to finish in the top 4 (2.00)
Liverpool would be so fortunate to make the top four, having thrown away so many easy points this season. Klopp’s side looks weary and hasn’t gotten the boost they’d hoped for with new arrivals like Thiago Alcantara.
A very underwhelming signing, which has surprised so many pundits and fans as he was tipped to be one of the best performing players in the league when the season began.
They have the easiest fixture list of the teams in contention. However, Liverpool has been consistently unreliable all season long, so don’t expect them to capitalize on that. Nonetheless, they are reigning champions, so we expect them to make a push at the end.
West Ham to finish in the top 4 (15.00)
Many football fans would have laughed this off at the start of the season. But, David Moyes West Ham has really kicked on since Christmas and has become quite a force.
The arrival of Manchester United loanee Jesse Lingard has really boosted the Hammer’s chances of making it into the Champions League next year.
With just a few games left and a couple of poor games for Moyes’ team, it’s certainly looking less likely now. However, Liverpool and Leicester have been hit and miss in the last few weeks.
If they can win all their final games, then hope that Manchester United beat both Leicester and Liverpool this week, then they are in with a shot—An outside shot at that.
