While there’s been plenty of drama going on across the NFL over the past week, we can finally look forward to some exciting showdowns this weekend. The long list of course is highlighted by a big-time battle at Lambeau field, with Green Bay getting ready to host the Seahawks. In this piece, we have our NFL Week 10 picks with the Packers favoured over Seattle.
Aaron Rodgers will look to get Green Bay back on track
When taking a look at the Packers, Aaron Rodgers will look to get Green Bay back on track following the Week 9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. There’s no denying that last week was a nightmare for the team, as Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 and had to miss the game because he’s also unvaccinated. This created quite the stir, as Rodgers couldn’t play.
Quarterback Jordan Love ended up making his first career start for the Packers and things didn’t go smoothly. It was clear from the start just how much the team missed Rodgers out on the field, as Love failed to develop any kind of consistent chemistry with his wide receivers. Come this weekend, Rodgers will be back and obviously hungry to lead his team to victory.
NFL Week 10 | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
---|---|---|---|
Packers to win | 1.54 | 1.54 | 1.54 |
Seahawks to win | 2.54 | 2.54 | 2.54 |
Chiefs to win | 1.69 | 1.69 | 1.69 |
Raiders to win | 2.22 | 2.22 | 2.22 |
The same can be said for Russell Wilson. The Seahawks signal-caller has missed several games due to injury, but he has been cleared to play this weekend. With Seattle at 3-5 on the year, they’re in desperate need of a win to try and stay in the postseason hunt. It will be on Wilson to try and help get that done while running back Chris Carson has also been activated from Injured Reserve.
According to the best NFL betting odds, Green Bay has been placed at 1.54 to take down Seattle, while the Seahawks are at 2.54. This will be a memorable game, featuring two of the best quarterbacks out there. With that said, we think that the Packers will be able to get things done and record a nice win. Agree with us? Kansas City should take down Las Vegas on Sunday
In another interesting showdown, Kansas City should take down Las Vegas on Sunday when the two sides face-off. This is always an interesting AFC West rivalry game and things are only going to be more intriguing with Patrick Mahomes and Derek Carr leading their offences out onto the field. Both guys had mixed results in last week’s games.
For Mahomes, he and the Kansas City offense couldn’t really muster much of anything against the Packers, scoring only 13 points. Fortunately for the Chiefs, Green Bay’s offence was sluggish with Love running things, which resulted in the Chiefs taking home the 13-7 win. Mahomes and Kansas City looked great on the opening drive, but things slowed down after that. What can we expect in Week 10?
As for the Raiders, the Week 9 loss to the New York Giants was a true disappointment. Carr finished the game with two interceptions and a lost fumble. That fumble came late in the game, with Las Vegas potentially getting ready to score a touchdown. Instead, Carr coughed up the ball and Las Vegas lost. In order for the Raiders to have a shot against the Chiefs, Carr is going to have to play better.
As things stand, the Chiefs are the favourites with 1.69 odds, while the Raiders are checking in at 2.22. What was really concerning for the Raiders last week were the issues in the red zone. That can’t happen again vs. the Chiefs. We don’t think that will matter, though, as Kansas City will do more than enough, led by Mahomes, to record a win. We’re going with the Chiefs as our pick.
Will the Los Angeles Rams answer the call against the San Francisco 49ers?
In a big-time NFC West tilt, will the Los Angeles Rams be able to answer the call against the San Francisco 49ers? This rivalry contest will also be a fun one and there’s plenty of pressure on LA right now and Matthew Stafford. The last time we saw the Rams in action, they were dominated by the Tennessee Titans. That kind of a showing can’t happen again, especially with the team’s NFL playoff predictions and odds going down.
Meanwhile, for the 49ers, Jimmy Garoppolo and Co. will have an upset on their minds. That of course will be no easy task, but playing at home will help. San Francisco holds 2.62 and the Rams are the favourites with 1.52 odds. While this could also be a close matchup, we don’t think San Francisco will be able to slow down the LA offence. The Rams are our pick.
