With four games left this season, the clear favourite on the best NFL betting odds for 2021 Rookie of the Year is Mac Jones. Jones – drafted 15th by the New England Patriots – is exceeding everyone’s expectations this season – and easily outperforming the four quarterbacks drafted ahead of him.

While Mac Jones is not on pace to break any rookie passing records such as touchdowns and passing yards, he is doing everything he is asked to do on a Patriots team fighting for first place in the AFC. Jones is 9-4 as the starter this season, completing 70.3% of his passes with a 16-8 TD-INT ratio.

He has helped the Patriots win seven straight games this season – which has propelled them to first place in the AFC. He has put up some impressive numbers as well in a few games – including 300+ yards in blowout wins against the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans.

Quarterbacks also win this award more often than any other position. Voters also love voting for quarterbacks who lead their teams to the postseason. Bet on Mac Jones to win the 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Wide Receivers the Biggest Threats to Mac Jones Winning Rookie of the Year

If someone is going to beat Mac Jones for 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year – it is going to be either Ja’Marr Chase or Jaylen Waddle. Chase leads all rookies with 1035 receiving yards and ten receiving touchdowns this season. Waddle is leading rookie wide receivers this season with 86 receptions.

While Chase is having a better season, he has cooled off a bit lately. He has only topped 60 yards receiving once in his last six games – having topped that number in six of his first seven games. Still, in his last game, he grabbed two TDs to become only the fifth rookie in the Super Bowl era with at least 1000 receiving yards and double-digit touchdowns.

Waddle is also inching closer to history. His 86 receptions are only 15 behind Anquan Boldin’s rookie record of 101. Waddle has caught at least eight passes in four of his last five games. He is likely to break the record with four games left.

So, who is the better bet to upset Jones at the top 2021 NFL betting sitesWe like Chase over Waddle. The Bengals throw the ball down the field much more – which gives Chase a higher ceiling. And Jones could have a quiet end to the season. He did only throw three passes in the weird game against the Bills (with the insane wind). So, Chase has a better chance at taking home Rookie of the Year.

Unlike the race for the 2021 Offensive Rookie of the Year – the race for the 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year is a lock. Micah Parsons is taking home the award – even if he does not play another snap this season.

Parsons is having a phenomenal season for the Dallas Cowboys as a hybrid pass rusher – linebacker. Parsons leads defensive rookies in a range of statistics. He leads rookies in tackles for loss (17), sacks (12.0), and forced fumbles (3).

His performance this season – has not only propelled him to a huge favourite for 2021 Defensive Rookie of the Year – but put him square in the conversion for 2021 Defensive Player of the Year.

If he keeps up his pace from the previous six games, Parsons will end the season with 18.5 sacks, 24 tackles for loss, and five forced fumbles. His 18.5 sacks would shatter the rookie record of 14.5 sacks (Jevon Kearse in 1999) in a season. Betting Parsons is the easiest bet you can make this week.
