Will the Raptors make it 4 from four?
- 01Philadelphia 76ers (1.83) vs Toronto Raptors (1.95)
- 02Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win & over 215.5 (4.05)
- 03Visiting Team Parlay Pick: 76ers to win & be the first to 25 points (3.98)
Philadelphia 76ers (1.83) vs Toronto Raptors (1.95)
A top-end of the table matchup as the Raptors currently sit in 4th with 11-4 outright, while the 76ers are 5th in the league, sitting on 11-5 overall.
The 76ers are looking for their fifth win in a row, which is why the NBA betting odds are favourable for the Philadelphia regardless of the Toronto home advantage.
Toronto aren’t doing badly either. They are on for 4 wins in a row, beating the Magic, Hornets and Hawks in their last. These teams are used to the matchup having battled it out in last seasons’ seven-game playoff series.
Though this time around each team will be without a key-player from the previous tie in Leonard and Butler.
The Scotiabank Arena has been turned into a fortress this season, as the Raptors go 6-0 at home for the season.
Expect a Raptors victory.
Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win & over 215.5 (4.05)
The 76ers have been excellent this season. They’ve been led by Joel Embiid, who has been averaging 22.8 points per game for the season outright.
They’ve been relatively average in offense and are 16th in the league in scoring offense, putting up 110.3 points per game. Philadelphia sit at 7th in rebounds, collecting 46.8 rebounds per contest.
The Raptors are stronger in offense, they’re tied for 7th place on 113.7 points per game this season. Toronto is 10th in the league with 46.3 rebounds per game.
The two teams are fairly evenly matched in terms of stats and both teams boast strong offensive units, so we expect there to be points in this one.
Take the Raptors to win & the game to go over 215.5 total.
Visiting Team Parlay Pick: 76ers to win & be the first to 25 points (3.98)
Though we do favour the Raptors outright, as we’ve been following them a lot this season, we thought the 76ers deserved an NBA free pick in this one. Philadelphia has been playing excellently and the run they’re on means they earnt this one.
Philadelphias’ form has led them to find themselves 6th in the NBA power rankings. They’ll be confident they can get something out of this game and will look to control the game early on.
A positive for the 76rers, is that Lowry is still unavailable and it looks like Ibaka is now a doubt to be involved.
It will be key to visitors success that they manage to stifle the Raptors’ offense, the likes of VanVleet and Siakam need to be stopped. The Raptors are tied for 3rd in the league for threes per game.
Philadelphia have been ahead in the first in their last 11 games straight, so we see them keeping up the trend and coming out trying to control the game early on.
Take the 76ers to win & be the first to 25 points.
