The Raptors had been on quite a roll since the start of the season, but they have only taken the points in one of their last five games.
Can they secure a win at home?

Cleveland Cavaliers (7.00) vs Toronto Raptors (1.08)
Toronto have hit a rough patch recently. They were beaten 112-92 by Kawhi Leonard and the high-flying Clippers in their last game. They’ll be up against a far weaker opponent here, but they’ll need to remain focused against this Cavs side.
One positive to take from the losses, is that starman Pascal Siakam has really stepped up to the plate in the absence of Kawhi, and for a time Lowry during his injury.
The Cavs turned up in their last game against the San Antonio Spurs, winning the game 117-109. Kevin Love, Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson all put up scores in a game that reminded Cavs fans what they are capable of when things tick.
The Raptors recent performances have really knocked them back, so much so that they have dropped down to 8th in the NBA power rankings.
Take Toronto Raptors to win.
Parlay Pick: Toronto Raptors to win & over 222.5 (3.48)
It’s important not to forget, that before the game against the Spurs the Raptors were on an 8-game losing streak. Though they had some tough matchups during that time, they need to be more competitive.
Cleveland are 28th in the league in points per game, putting up just 102.6, while the Raptors are scoring 110.8 points per game.
Defensively Cleveland haven’t been much better either. They are allowing 113.2 per game, while the Raptors are letting 105.5 past them per game. This doesn’t bode well for Cleveland, as they’ll have to do a lot more in this one to come out on top.
As well as Siakam, Toronto have VanVleet and Lowry to put up points. The Raptors are fifth in the league in Free Throw percentage, boasting an average of .806%. They’ll look to move the ball and hit threes on Monday.
NBA betting odds will favour Toronto in this one and we feel given the string of tough opponents they’ve had of late, they will be more confident at home against the Cavs and will put up a decent lead early in the game.
Expect the Raptors to win & over 222.5 total.
Player Pick: Pascal Siakam to get over 29.5 (2.25)
It feels like the league is stacked with players to watch at the moment, the likes of Giannis, Luca, Young, LeBron, the list goes on. Pascal Siakam is certainly one of those players this season.
We’ve been so impressed with him, his consistency has been immense. He’s averaging 24.5 points per game and 10th in the league on field goals made per game.
Siakam has been the top-scorer in the Raptors last two fixtures, and we expect more of the same from him against the Cavaliers.
The return to Kyle Lowry has been a great addition to the team for Toronto, his experience on the court is also a great influence on the younger guys. Siakam gets our NBA free pick for the weekend, due to his form.
Take the young Pascal Siakam to put up over 29.5.
