2025 Conn Smythe Trophy Winner

Now that the 2025 Stanley Cup Final has concluded, let’s take a deep dive into this year’s Conn Smythe winner.

Sam Bennett (Florida Panthers)

Jun 17, 2025; Sunrise, Florida, USA; Gary Bettman, NHL Commissioner, presents Florida Panthers center Sam Bennett (9) the Conn Smythe Trophy after winning game six of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final against the Edmonton Oilers at Amerant Bank Arena.

Not only was Florida Panthers forward Sam Bennett successful in adding a second Stanley Cup ring to his trophy case, but the Holland Landing product also nabbed his first ever individual award by claiming the 2025 Conn Smythe Trophy.

Taking his game to the next level from the first game of the playoffs, all the way to the Stanley Cup Final, Bennett was superb all postseason long. Leading the entire NHL in goals scored in the playoffs with 15, Bennett was no stranger to lighting the lamp.

Truly living up to the billing of his fourth-overall selection back in 2014, love him or hate him, it’s hard to argue that Bennett wasn’t deserving of the 2025 Playoff MVP award.

How to Read Conn Smythe Odds

Reading Conn Smythe odds is pivotal in your betting success this postseason. In our examples featured on this page, we use American odds as the preferred method to display odds.

In American odds, a favourite is signified using a minus symbol (-) and an underdog is shown using a plus sign (+).

If you bet on a favourite, the minus represents the amount you need to wager in order to win $100 in profit.

  • Example – if Connor McDavid is -110 to win the Conn Smythe, you’d need to wager $110 in order to profit $100, netting a total return of $210 including your original $110 stake.

For an underdog, these odds represent how much you can profit by wagering $100.

  • Example – if Brad Marchand is +1000 to win the Conn Smythe, a $100 wager would net you a $1000 profit, an $1100 return with your original $100 stake.

Now that you understand how to read Conn Smythe odds, let’s take a look at some of the best NHL betting sites to place your bets with.
