Gone are the dark days of struggling to find UFC videos. Or maybe you were a few of the 10,000 Americans who purchased UFC pay per views. Now the UFC has become so popular it’s closer to being oversaturated than unknown. Thanks to their deal with FOX and digital streaming service, UFC Fight Pass, the UFC has spread its viewership to 129 countries and has held events in 30 of them.

The UFC’s sudden explosion all began in 2011 when it struck a 7-year-deal with FOX and two years later debuted on Fox Sports 1. But when UFC Fight Pass went online in 2014, the promotion got the broadcasting versatility to air events from anywhere in the globe. Their annual events went from 30 from 2011 to 2013 to 43 from 2014 to 2016. Heading to their official website or other MMA websites will inform you where to catch their events. As of 2017, there are four main platforms to watch UFC and where it airs determines the card quality.

Pay-per-view is still the cream of the crop. The UFC hosts 12 pay per views a year averaging one each month. These are where the UFC save their best fights including the majority of their title fights. PPVs can be ordered via your local cable network, Youtube, or Fight Pass. The free TV cards air on FOX or Fox Sports 1. FOX cards are PPV-quality and there are about 5 a year. Fox Sports 1 is where half of the UFC cards are averaging to about 2 per month. The Fight Pass cards were more common in 2014 but have since declined in quantity but improved in quality. These cards are usually outside the US and air at unusual times. There are about 4 Fight Pass cards annually available by subscription.
