The January transfer window is often a tumultuous time for soccer clubs.
Gianluca Di Marzio says Jonathan David will remain at Juventus until at least the end of the season, while Christian Pulisic has “no possibility” of leaving AC Milan for Manchester United this summer.
Speaking to CanadaSportsBetting.ca, the Sky Sport Italia transfer insider shut down speculation around a winter exit for David and a Premier League return for Pulisic.
Jonathan David – “I don’t think he will leave”
Di Marzio acknowledged the striker’s difficult adaptation at Juventus, but believes his recent goal has stabilized his short-term future.
“It’s not been easy for him but after he scored against Sassuolo, the situation looks better. I don’t think he will leave. I think he will stay, minimum, till the end of the season. Even if some clubs are proposing swap deals to Juventus.”
Di Marzio added that the decision on David’s long-term future will likely hinge on Italy manager Luciano Spalletti’s plans this summer:
“Then in the summer it depends on Spalletti if he stays or doesn’t. Jonathan David will stay at Juventus till the end of the season. Jonathan David will stay at Juventus until summer.”

Pulisic to Manchester United – “No possibilities”
Despite reports linking Pulisic with a move to Manchester United, Di Marzio described the scenario as a non-starter, citing AC Milan’s ongoing contract renewal plans.
“Pulisic is a key player for Milan. They talked to renew his contract and they will get it done. They also want to renew Mike Maignan’s contract, a super important player and are at a very good point. Rafael Leao, they’ll also try to renew his contract.”
“They want to keep the best players and build the future of Milan through Maignan, Pulisic and Leao. So there are no possibilities for Pulisic to leave and go to Man Utd.”
