Best Season Win Total Over Bets
Miami Dolphins Over 9.5 Wins (+300)
Our biggest moneymaker of the 2025 NFL season when it comes to season win total bets, back the Miami Dolphins to reach double-digit wins this season as they make a major step forward from last year’s disappointing campaign.
Since drafting and handing the keys to the franchise over to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa back in 2020, the Dolphins have had a winning record in four of the past five seasons. While injuries may have derailed their season in 2024, look for the high-octane offence of the ‘Phins to be back in full force this year.
Sporting a lightning-fast offence with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and De’Von Achane, as well as the addition of former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller, the Dolphins are set to light up the scoreboard weekly this season. Even after trading away All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey to the Steelers, the Dolphins defence is still formidable, especially within their front seven.
With their advantageous divisional matchups against perennial bottom-feeders like the New England Patriots and New York Jets, the Dolphins are already in a strong position to secure three or four wins this season just in divisional play. Additionally, the Dolphins will also play inter-divisional matchups against the weakest divisions in football, specifically the NFC and the AFC South.
Combining their strong roster with their overrated strength of schedule, look for the Dolphins to quickly rattle off victories, reaching 10 wins in the last few weeks of the season, as they have a favourable final three games against the Cincinnati Bengals, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Patriots.
Actual season win total: 7.5 (over -105, under -115)
Miami Dolphins over 9.5 wins
Detroit Lions Over 11.5 Wins (+200)
Hot off the heels of a dominant regular season, look for the Detroit Lions to come back with a vengeance in 2025 as they redeem themselves after coming up short in the 2024 NFL Playoffs.
Returning much of their star-studded core that led them to the NFC Championship just two seasons ago, the Lions are a cohesive, well-oiled machine that turns competitive matchups into one-sided blowouts on any given Sunday.
With young stars such as Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown continuing to light up scoreboards, as well as a revitalized and healthy defensive unit, the sky is the limit for these legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
Even through an injury-riddled season, the Lions managed to secure a whopping 15 wins in 2024, besting their 12-win season from 2023. Showing no signs of slowing down, instead in all likelihood continuing to evolve and improve, the Lions are a fantastic bet to win at least 12 games in 2025.
Back the Lions to rack up wins as they once again secure a divisional title in the NFC North, pushing their way toward the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl win as they put cash in your pocket with this juicy win total prop.
Actual season win total: 10.5 (over +100, under -130)
Philadelphia Eagles Over 12.5 Wins (+210)
Last but not least in our alternate best over win total bets for the 2025 NFL season, you can’t go wrong backing the defending Super Bowl champions.
Having long been a powerhouse in the NFL for the better part of the past decade, the Eagles are once again among the best of the best in the NFL. After finally reaching the pinnacle of the football world with their Super Bowl LIX victory against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Eagles’ confidence heading into this season is through the roof.
Sporting an offence that is borderline unstoppable, as well as a hard-hitting and skilled defence, the Eagles are a well-rounded football team from top to bottom.
With double-digit wins in three straight seasons, the Eagles have eclipsed 12.5 wins in two of the past three years. While they may have one of the most demanding schedules in terms of strength of schedule, look for the Eagles to prove they’re more than ready to handle the onslaught of tough teams, securing win after win as they cash in on their season win total soundly in 2025.
Actual season win total: 11.5 (over +100, under -130)
Best Season Win Total Under Bets
New York Jets Under 4.5 Wins (+215)
Kicking off our list of the top teams to fade when it comes to securing wins in 2025 is none other than the New York Jets. Having failed to secure a winning season in nine consecutive years, there is truly no hope for this club heading into their upcoming campaign.
After the utter failure of the Aaron Rodgers saga for the Jets, even the acquisition of Davante Adams wasn’t enough to pull them out of mediocrity. Last year, the Jets managed only five wins. If that’s all they were able to manage with a superior roster in 2024, there’s no way they’re able to replicate it with their porous 2025 squad.
With their shortcoming all but guaranteed to follow them into 2025, expect wins to come at a premium for the Jets this season.
Sporting a weak cast of players throughout their lineup, the biggest issue for the Jets this season is their offence. Handing the keys to an unproven passer, Justin Fields, behind a lacklustre offensive line, just like in his time with the Bears, expect Fields to scramble for his life on every passing down as he struggles to get the ball into the hands of his playmakers.
I firmly believe that the Jets will have one of the worst records in all of football in 2025, so betting the under on their regular season win total is a no-brainer in my books. Watch your account balance grow as their win total remains low in 2025, fade the Jets this upcoming NFL season.
Actual season win total: 5.5 (over -130, under +100)
New York Jets under 4.5 wins
Los Angeles Rams Under 8.5 Wins (+200)
Credit where credit is due, the Los Angeles Rams have massively exceeded expectations year after year under the control of head coach Sean McVay. Easily one of the best football minds the game has seen in decades, the Rams have their football savant to thank in large part for their myriad of recent successes.
That being said, expect this to all finally come crashing down as McVay’s sensational game-planning ability won’t be enough to save their bacon in 2025.
Although it may not feel too far removed, it’s been four years since the Rams claimed glory at Super Bowl LVI. Since then, the Rams have experienced several ups and downs as their championship core has aged and diminished over time. While they’ve managed to find diamonds in the rough, such as Puka Nacua and Braden Fiske, the Rams simply don’t have the firepower to compete in a loaded NFC.
Competing within the uber-tough NFC West, no win will come easily for the Rams in 2025. As they continue to hunt for their new identity, expect this season to be more of a learning experience for their young core, rather than a year where they can compete for a postseason birth.
Fade the Rams in 2025 as they fall well short of nine wins, finishing with a losing record for just the second time under McVay, nabbing you a juicy payday in the process.
Actual season win total: 9.5 (over -145, under +115)
Tennessee Titans Under 4.5 Wins (+240)
Finally, rounding out our biggest fades of the 2025 NFL season, hammer the under on the Tennessee Titans win total this year. After three straight failed seasons trying to reestablish their team identity, expect the Titans to take their lickings this year as they establish their rebuild in a trial by fire.
Transitioning into the Cam Ward era after drafting the Miami QB first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Titans should have tempered expectations for how far this rookie passer can take them. Since 2010, 11 quarterbacks have been taken with the first overall pick and only once has a team finished with a winning record the following season with their rookie QB at the helm (2012 Colts, Andrew Luck).
Furthermore, not only have these teams been bad, they’ve outright stunk in recent memory, with three of the last four numero uno quarterbacks finishing with less than five wins in their rookie seasons (the only outlier being Caleb Williams in 2024, 5-12).
Even within their incredibly weak division, the Titans are sure to struggle to gain an edge on the scoreboard in 2025, let alone escape with a win. Expect to see plenty of losses in the Titans’ near future as Cam Ward’s mettle is quickly tested, as they hope to ramp their way back into playoff contention in the coming seasons ahead.
