Venezuela: LHP Eduardo Rodriguez
Rodriguez made an incredibly difficult start against a stacked Dominican Republic roster last time he took the hill for his country, giving up three earned runs on three hits over 2 2/3 innings. Like McLean, Rodriguez will also be subject to a potential early hook as both teams will not hesitate to call on bullpen help with so much on the line.

Weather won’t impact the WBC final as it’s being played at LoanDepot Park in Miami. Forecasts are calling for rain on Tuesday night, so it’s very unlikely the retractable roof will be open.
